Adrian was having a slow day, he'd hadn't had a hunt in days, no one felt like breaking the law without getting caught but he was still able to get along. He was doing a bit of grocery shopping in the village.
He walked past a poster and looked at it knowing it was probably a vandal or thief and decide to ignore it and walk on. But as he walked past another one he noticed the reward, "One hundred gold!" he exclaimed. That was enough to buy new equipment and feed himself for two months. he took off the poster and started walked home completely forgetting about the food he'd left on the street.

Richard was walking down the street and saw a poster that had a reward of 100 gold!'100 gold! That's a lot!' Richard thought. He took the poster and started down the street.
Soon Richard arrived at his house. He saw another man walking down the street with the same poster."Hello. Would you happen to know about the man on the poster?" Richard called out to the man.

Adrian hears someone talking to them and looked at them, "Only that he's wanted by the Ranger Corps and that I'm gonna bring him in. Why, whats it to ya?"Adrian had figured that the man wanted the reward, but anybody would, and the man looked pretty foresty, Adrian didn't like it one bit.

Nyla was walking slowly through the streets. She kept looking around as if she were being chased. When she wasn't looking around, she was looking at the ground, watching her feet raise clouds of dust. Nyla wasn't watching where she was going and bumped into a man exiting a room.
"Sorry, sir!" Nyla jumped back and looked up.

Malleus stared solemnly into his mug, his milky eyes seeing nothing in his blindness, but his hand having measured the weight. If there was anything left, they were just drops hardly enough to quench his thirst. He sat with his back to the wall, a hand gripping the handle of his sword. His ears were his eyesight, organizing the noises around him to map out his personal 'field of vision;' his mind remembering every scrape of the chairs and tables to remind him where the furniture lay. He dug into his pocket and left his amount due before rising and heading for the door. He fingered the remaining change left on him and frowned. He needed another job soon, but there wasn't that many people who'd hire a blind mercernary, regardless that he wasn't really 'blind' in the sense of seeing his surroundings. The sunlight made him hesitate for a brief second as his useless eye sensors captured the changing of light. Though he couldn't see the shapes around him, his brain received the changes of light. He took the time to listen and quickly calculate his surroundings, listening especially any excited whsipers that would warn him it was time to disappear yet again. He would still have been in hiding had he not been offered a job a few days back. He'd not only needed the money, but it'd been his only way to keep his promise. And a fool of a promise it'd been when he'd made it, but regardless he'd made it and now how to keep it. He only wished he could find her quickly and be done with it before he was hunted - again.

Avalon looked around, confused. She was sure she had seen this street before. Her mentor was going to be so mad at her, it was already noon and he expected her to be back in Araluen the next day. The only person she saw in the street was a tall man on the steps of an inn. "Excuse me sir," She asked him. "Do you know where I can find a map, or directions to Araluen?"

"Excuse me sir. Do you know where I can find a map, or directions to Araluen?" Malleus knew the question had been directed at him based on the direction of which it'd come and of which it'd traveled. He turned his head toward her voice, body tense with apprehension. The day wasn't so old where women couldn't become mercenaries, rangers, or worse, knights.
His mind flashed through those that had hunted him in the past, but her voice matched neither in tone or pitch. Still, he slipped his hands into his wide sleeves as he crossed them over his chest, fingers fingering the daggers sheathed there. His nostrils flared as they took in her scent to forge forever into his memory. He'd learned early on, that there were various ways to tell who was who without the need for one's eyes, and most of the time they weren't even aware of what made them stick out. He could see through any disguise they dared to try, making him very skilled in his line of work.
Though she didn't match up to any one of his previous hunters in either sound, height - which he'd determined by the travel of sound, be it how far up or down from his own height - or smell, he was still cautious of why she'd asked him instead of the various other people on the streets. He'd learned to be wary of everyone as many saw it fit and easy to steal from the blind. So instead of telling her what she asked for, he said, "I was just about to head that way anyways; I'll be glad to escort you there." This way he'd be able to kill his enemies before they became a nuisance when he closed in on his target.

Avvi hesitated for a moment. He didn't exactly answer her question, but he did say he could escort her there. Avvi fingered the small letter in her hidden pocket, on it was scrawled the words "King Duncan". Weary, but not showing it, she nodded. "Thankyou sir. Are you sure it's not a problem?"

"Not at all," he lied with a jolly smile. He'd found that people trusted more easily those that lived as if they hadn't a single care in the world and he'd learned to perfect his skill over the years. He would've played on his lack of sight had she not already seen him without a cane. Oh well, he'd make her more relax to share her secrets another way.

Avvi nodded. "Shall we be off then or do you need time first?" She asked hesitantly. "I am ready whenver."

He always carried everything he needed on him, having been taught by his past to always be ready for whatever scenario life saw fit to throw at you. He smiled as his mind narrowed in suspicion. Had she wanted him to leave her outside while he gathered his belongings so she could make contact with her employer? Or was she trying to buy time so his body wouldn't be found too soon for their liking? An empty room to a seeking rent collector would lead him to the simple fact that he had left.
"It was kind of you to ask for I almost forgot that I need my cane. I've been here awhile you see, so I haven't needed it for some time. But with each travel, I need to relearn the landscape of the town. Though if you'd rather we didn't stop, I could always rely on your guidance." He smiled at her, his milky eyes wide in her direction as he gave her the chance to take a strike. If she thought he was dependant on her, she'd most likely lower her guard.

Avvi turned to take a good look at the street, and the intersection ahead. "The main street then?" She asked. She didn't really know what to think of a blind man helping her, but to her being disabled in one area just meant you were more skilled in another, so she shrugged it off for the moment. Even if anything were to attack them on the road, she still had her swords. Avvi wondered if she should tell the man about her hidden twin anelaces, or if she shouldn't trust him. As they started off, she just realized she had no idea what to call him other than 'sir'.

"Certainly. I live right off it and I'll be quick to grab it. I always leave it by the door." He ushered her through the doorway of a plain house with an equaly plain interior. He'd kept away from personalizing the place, so he wouldn't have to waste time packing everything up. Life had demanded that he be quick to move if he wanted to stay alive. "My name's Rubert Simons, by the way," he said with a hint of a smile as he ushered her back outside with his cane in hand. He held it above the ground, having not the need to use it as of yet. "And what shall I call the beautiful girl I'm escorting?" Flattery was also another easy excess to most people.

Following him back outside, she replied, "Avalon. Just Avalon." Avvi smiled at the thought of a blind man calling her beautiful. Which just proved he was blind, as she wasn't very. "How long would you say it takes to get to Araluen?" She asked.
