Profession: Hunter
Appearance:
Robert is a tall, muscle toned man, a little over six feet tall and weighing in at just under three-hundred pounds. His muscles are only apparent from his size and shape, as his skin is nearly always covered in fur clothing that he has made from a recent kill. His skin is fairly tan from all his time spent in the wilderness.Personality:
He has straight, dirty blonde hair, cut neatly and pulled into a tight bun at the back of his head. He has a short beard, trimmed neatly in accordance with his hair. His eyes are small and light blue in color.
Robert is a friendly enough person, but lacks prominent social skills as a result of all of his time alone in the woods. He isn't the best at reading social queues and can be completely oblivious to awkward or serious moments between people. When pressed for conversation, he tends to stammer as he tries to think faster than the words can escape his mouth, but he prefers not to talk at all, when its an option.History:
Years of moving around a lot has taught him to be able to make himself comfortable anywhere and is rarely shy. He is very trusting and loyal towards others.
He has a way with animals that is so acute, another man could honestly suspect that he was one himself, if not for his human features.
Robert's father was a hunter, and his father before him, and his father's father before him, and so on so forth as far back as any of his family can remember. He was born and raised on the move as the youngest of seven boys. When they were young, their mother would teach them how to sew and cook. Then as they got older and bigger, their father took them with him hunting and taught them how to track and animal, catch it, kill it and skin it. In this way, they all became men that could be completely independent in their lives and be able to take care of themselves. One at a time, Robert's older brothers became of age and left the family caravan to pursue their own careers and live out their lives.Additional Information:
At the age of fifteen, he was the only son left and his mother and father were getting on in their years, though neither would admit it. It was only a matter of time until they bit off more than they could chew. Robert was gathering firewood one day and returned to camp to find his parents under siege by a pack of wolves. In a blind rage, Robert slaughtered the wolves, but he was too late so save his parents. With no way of finding or contacting any of his brothers, Robert laid his parents to rest himself. Then he packed up what he needed and left the camp as it was. He supposed that it would make a good refuge for some fortunate traveler one day and it was all too much to take with him.
Robert wasn't sure what to do then, so he followed the trail from his family's camp back to the wolves' den to exact his revenge on what remained of their family. However, the only beast there was a newborn cub, left parent-less just as Robert was. Unable to kill the beast in good conscience, he took her under his wing and raised her, training her as a hunting dog.
After that, Robert just kept living. His life was fairly uneventful for a long time. He hunted, selling meats and pelts in villages for money and lodging when he didn't feel like sleeping in the woods that night. Over the years he came across all of his brothers at one point or another and told them of their parents' fate. However, as far as Robert knows they've all gotten themselves killed now. One was mauled by a bear. Another was pushed over a cliff by a wild boar. The oldest got robbed and left for dead in a cave by one of his 'lovers.' The point is that Robert has no living family that he knows of.
Robert can communicate with his wolf, Sasha, through a series of subtle hand and eye motions that less observant folk would be unlikely to notice.
