I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite scenes from role–playing on this site. There isn't really any specific criteria to look for. Just post any in character quotations that you particularly like. Feel free to post as many favorites as you want. This is a casual discussion, so don't be afraid to reply with comments or questions.
Copy dialog only please. I don't want to see entire reposts on this thread. Adapting a very brief conversation between a couple characters to fit in fewer sets of quotation marks is fine. Let's refrain from quoting our own characters. Include the speaking character(s) and the title of the thread at the end of the quote. See my example.
"If you are defecting or going undercover—I don't care which—I want to come with you. You promised you would not leave me behind."

That one made me chuckle. Brandwyn does a fantastic job with Bunt's accent and personality.
"Crowley will be down in a moment. The butcher, I mean barber, has just left him."
"Please forgive my tardiness. I sustained a wound at the hands of these incompetent buffoons."
"Perhaps we need to screen some of our other service people. There could be a conspiracy to try to assassinate our leadership! What better way than to slit your throat with a hot towel wrapped around your face!"

“We need to get out of here.” He embraced the Royal Scout very tightly, mindful of her injured arm. “Hang on,” he told her. Tandar whistled sharply, and, on the ridge atop the ravine, Ruldor took off, pulling the rope, and hoisting Tandar and Brandwyn to safety just as the pair of demons got close. Ruldor dragged them over the lip of the gorge and stopped. Helping her to sit up, Tandar took off his thick, wool Ranger cloak and draped it over her shoulders.
He lifted her chin, angling her lips upward into his to receive the kiss. "I missed you."
