Due to the infrequent use of several of what I had considered "main characters" I have decided to reduce them to being used in the form of NPCs. This means that they ones that had initially been characters can now be used and controlled(within reason) by anyone in their own stories. (Common courtesy would require speaking with me a bit if you plan on using to do something outlandish with them)

Angus Mac Heath aka Heathbruin meaning: Bear of the HeathAge: 27 Gender: Male Profession: Highland warrior, leather worker Appearance: Angus is a tall, strong Scotti of muscular build (Rippling in fact) Having a corded neck, thick broad shoulders, knotted biceps and long bowling pin forearms. He has large long fingered hands and a well-defined chest. He tapers down to a washboard abdomen and slim waist but out again as you continue down to his long legs with large thighs and heart shaped calves. Altogether he is a rather imposing specimen. But for all of his bulk he is very flexible and dexterous. His face is ruggedly handsome, ruddy and bearded with an ever-present smile. His shaggy hair is long and swept back honey golden in color. His bright blue eyes are always crinkled with a jovial smile. He dresses in a Kilt and tall rugged boots or traditional short boots and high socks as well as a fur sporran and wears a tan sued leather sleeveless shirt and sometimes a wool sheerling vest. His dirk is fixed on his left hip, a throwing axe on his left and he has a large two-handed Claymore in a tilting back scabbard. Personality: Angus is a very buoyant, optimistic, fun loving man who is very confident and competitive. He is always competing against himself in order to be better at anything he does than then he had been the day before. He is also very protective and fiercely patriotic. He is bright and well trained in Strategy and warfare as well as words and is known to dabble in poetry at times. He is quite amorous and enjoys courting the ladies whenever possible enjoying it almost as much as fighting or the games. History: Angus Mac Heath was born on the eastern heath of the Pictish highlands to a free farmer and shepherd who owned a medium sized farmstead and was moderately successful. The local Lord noticed his remarkable prowess during the highland games at the age of thirteen as he was competing against and usually beating boys and men much older than he in many events. He had reached an impressive size even then. The Lord Montague sought him out and paid his father handsomely to allow him to come study under his master at arms to groom the boy as a military leader. He did very well there and excelled in combat and strategy as they tended to excite his gaming nature but when it came to rank and responsibility, he did not share his superiors sincerity, nor did he believe in the importance they put on many of the issues of leadership. So after a rocky few years in the service of Lord Montague he resigned his commission and returned to his father’s farm on the Heath and settled down to a more frivolous lifestyle of tending sheep chasing lassies and brawling in the pubs. His lifestyle earned him little favor among the people who had once been most proud of him. He started to engage more in games of chance and drinking and became unfocused and unproductive. His Father grieving at the loss of the son he knew finally gave him the money he had saved for his inheritance and sent him away saying "Go away to the south and seek your fortune I am as one dead to you now so take your inheritance and go!" Though it broke both their hearts Angus saw the wisdom and sacrifice in his father’s words and and deeds. Angus sought employment to the south in Araluen. Additional Information: Angus lives a simple life with few possessions, he has been a mercenary and bodyguard and has lived off his earnings as well as his inheritance and whatever winnings he has made in gaming. Yeah dats him, not bad huh?

Sir Ecosse Deitule Age: 30 Gender: Male Profession: Knight Appearance: Sir Ecosse is about 6 foot tall and powerfully built. He has medium length dark brown hair is clean shaven and has very deep blue eyes. He is known to be dressed moderately but neatly almost all the time he wears mostly blue and red combinations to go with his coat of arms. his armor is all steel with bright silver trim and his coat of arms bears a golden lion Rampant on a per-pale field of azure and guile (blue and red) he caries a sword and matching dagger. He speaks with a trace of a Gualic accent Personality: Sir Ecosse is a strange mixture of self enforced humility, and supreme confidence in his martial prowess. he is friendly, joyful, passionate in all things, especially courtly love and honor. He is constantly striving for purity and has a very acute sense of fairness and justice. His conscience is ever at war with his heart as he is a hopeless romantic and defender of the fairer sex. The only place he allows his conscience to be upstaged is during any type of martial competition as he exults in good natured challenges and is a good loser but determined not to be bested. History: Sir Ecosse is the son of a Scotti Lord who took a young Gaulic bride from a noble family as a way of increasing his holdings. His mother Elisse died during childbirth and his father Argyle sent him back to Gaulica to be raised by his mothers family. Argyle was committed to the boys upkeep and training but could not suffer the presence of his son as the reminder of his loss was so potent in the face of the boy. Ecosse (which mean A Scotti in the Gualic tongue) grew strong and showed his prowess early. When he was of age and his training had made him the better of all his peers, Argyle had him admitted to the Araluen Battle school where again he was a superior fighter and exemplary knight. He has had several assignments and has been all over Araluen in several campaigns but is now searching for something a bit more than being the dutiful soldier. Additional Information: Sir Ecosse Deitule (the day spring) is well equipped. he has a full set of armor starting with a padded gambesson and leg protectors (chap like under armor for the legs) a full set of steel chain mail and a suite of plate armor that has the conversion pieces (IE the helm, pauldoons and shield) for mounted jousting. of course he has his lances and to the pommel of his saddle he carries a large battle axe. His large white Stallion has a grey mane, tail and feathers and his name is Halcyon, but most often he is called Hal. Sir Ecosse is well trained in the use of a medium crossbow for any distance attacks and carries one with two quivers of quarrels. Mon Dieu!

Geir "Strongbow" ? Age: 18 Gender: Male Profession: Huntsman's apprentice/Scandian refugee Appearance: Geir has hazel eyes and coppery color hair, he is good looking and has light side burns That come down a bit lower than his mouth and wildly tousled hair. He is fairly tall and broad shouldered; he is well defined but very trim. he is strong and somewhat wiry with well developed arms and chest washboard abs and long strong legs. His waist is narrow and he is fast and flexible. He is dressed rather simply in a faded red tunic tan pants and brown boots. He has brown leather bracers and a leather helmet that has a metal nasal that slides up and down for protection. He also has a red cloak and carries a few throwing axes and a seax knife Personality: Geir is a bit somber due to his circumstances and can be very serious at times but he is also reflective and can be quite strategic as well. He already knows much about living out of doors and making his way in the wild. As a tracker and hunter he is very skilled and has tremendous natural ability with a longbow. On the lighter side, when there is one, he is very interested in the opposite sex and tends to want to rescue and restore every hard case he comes across. He is a good singer and a talented percussionist playing his Celtic/Skandian Tambour drum. History: Geir was the fosterling of the Jarl's Huntmaster in Bjornholt, who was also the master of the mews and the kennels. Prior to becoming a fosterling and apprentice to the Huntmaster Geir was embroiled in a saga of his own. Born the bastard son of a Chieftain, Geir was not recognized by his father and served in his household as a thrall until the Chieftain died of wounds suffered in a raid. Just before his passing he recognized Geir as an heir and Geir became a member of the household and a brother to his older half brother and sister. His half brother was killed defending him from The son of his father's new wife and he is now a hunted man. Geir was taken in by Hawkur the hunter but after a few yearsunder his apprenticeship, Hawkur was murdered by the man that pursued Geir, Smidja felt it best to intervene and get him out of Skandia He thought of Ringulf and Fin in Marshwood in Araluen and decided since they shared so much in common with the boy, They might foster him for his own safety. Additional Information: Geir is a natural with a bow and throwing axes and he also was deadly accurate with a smooth stone, so the late Chieftain's seneschal used him to stock the Hold's larder with game. when he was not hunting he was working for the smithy or the carpenter. he preferred this to the menial household chores and did not want to get into the dangers of being forced into a warmweed addiction. When he came to be with the Huntmaster he was made a fosterling and did not have to lead the life of a thrall but was no longer an heir either, so he was apprenticed to the Huntmaster but Smidja also noticed his aptitude for woodworking and some smithing so he started to teach him as well. that is how he came to make such a superb bow. One that seemed almost like it was made by the Alves , even Smidja could not believe he had made it. They named it Hvit(White) Frekvang after the tooth of Odin's wolf and he is very rarely without it. During the Harvest fair Geir won the apprentice level Archery event and had the overall High score for the entire Archery event in all classes He won: The prize for each category will be 10 gold coins, a master quality bow and a dozen finely crafted arrows as well as a special commendation from the King of Araluen.
The overall tournament winner with a remarkable score of 99 is none other than the young Geir Strongbow. Unto him will be awarded an extra 5 gold pieces and this belt favor made by the hand of our lovely Princess Cassandra. (The belt favor sports a golden lion rampant waving a silver oak leaf in its forward paw on a field of blue.) This prize is bestowed by the Princess in appreciation of Geir's talent and in addition to the regularly offered prized for his category.
