*Snap, rustle rustle*
Karel shot a look at Mouse from the map. "What was that?!" He said to her in a hushed tone. "Wait here, I'll be right back." He darted off into the foliage in search of the cause of the noises moving in their direction. Stealthily stalking up he spotted four men and three horses, two men were on top of the same horse.
"W'ere is dat scoundrel. I want me 'orse back," one of the men said. He had an odd accent, all of them looked similar, they had to be related. By how they were moving they must have been searching for Karel after his equestrian caper.
He creeped back to Mouse's camp, "We seem to have come across our first problem. It would appear that the gentleman whose horse I borrowed wants it back and he is coming here with his friends to get it. Can you be ready to move in say twenty breaths?"

Nissa decided to ignore him, she held dealt with men just like him time and time again. Although she was going to watch him carefully in case he tried something.

Karel shot a look at Mouse from the map. "What was that?!" He said to her in a hushed tone. "Wait here, I'll be right back." He darted off into the foliage in search of the cause of the noises moving in their direction.
Nissa looked in that general direction and opened her mouth before she could speak he was already off. She shrugged and decided to let him go off on an adventure. She looked at the meaningless map and sighed. She shouldered her pack and her quiver, she would use her bow as a walking stick, though of course it was already strung in case she needed it. She double checked that she had her daggers. She was examining her nails by the time he came back.
He creeped back to Mouse's camp, "We seem to have come across our first problem. It would appear that the gentleman whose horse I borrowed wants it back and he is coming here with his friends to get it. Can you be ready to move in say twenty breaths?"
The side of her mouth quirked in a smirk. She pointed a finger at him. "You can lose them however you want to I'm heading for the river in that direction." she pointed in the dire3ction she was going. "It goes for quite a bit and its in the direction we need to travel and it is less populated. You can meet me along there with the beast." with that she tipped an imaginary hat to him and disappeared into the forest about as fast an ranger, going in the opposite direction where the men with the horses were.

"Good," he thought, "one less problem to be concerned with. I have to admit she is fast. That'll come in handy. Now to the approaching nuisance," he looked back in the direction of the men. "Hmm," he pondered, "should I let them roam about, or make peace with their god?" He weighed the options and decided against slitting their throats. Instead he chose to play fox and headed towards the river at a right angle from the direction Mouse went. His plan was to take the horse, lead it across the river, back it back into the river and head towards the rendezvous location. It was a simple plan but one that generally worked unless being chased by a savvy ranger. He would know the fruits of his labor before long.
After back tracking and following the river he came to a likely spot to where Mouse should be and waited, though he wouldn't wait too long, there was a dead line to keep after all. If she were at this location she would make her presence known, either by trying to shoot or stab him. The thought never crossed his mind that she might just come out and greet him. She seemed to hate men, which he was fine with, most men are despicable, present company not excluded for reasons of the past.

After departing from Karel Mouse quickly made her way to the river and along it. Her mind was overflowing with thoughts, or more accurately doubts. Perhaps it hadn't been such a good idea to have included him, could she really trust him? Probably not. She wouldn't at all be surprised if he tried to kill her in her sleep. But the alternative hadn't been any better. The man who had given her the paper knew for a fact that she couldn't read. He had manipulated her on purpose. She stopped and swiftly climbed a tree then sat still thinking, her bow and an arrow on her lap. Avery was obviously still holding a grudge that she had bailed out on him. Avery wasn't the kind of person to just let things go. But she couldn't have stayed, it just wouldn't of been good. Avery wanted her back but why? He had for the most part left her alone why was he choosing now to make contact with her? It was possible he wanted to capture her in order to throw her to the rangers who would then in turn throw her in jail and then as the law allowed would hang her for her crimes. She rubbed her neck thinking about being hung wasn't a very pleasant thought she shuddered. King Duncan didn't make exceptions, she was to old to be above the law and had done to much to escape it. There was always the possibility of leaving the country, starting a new life somewhere else. But where? She could stowaway on a boat and head for Skandia, there was Picta but she doubted she would get very far in either place. Nissa had no where to go and she had no one to turn to. no one cared if she lived or died. No one would mourn her death in fact several nobles would probably hound the king for it. She was alone in this world no matter where she was, she mine as well stay here and take her chances. She wondered if the king would be more lenient if she turned herself in, perhaps if she begged him for mercy told him she wanted to change maybe he would let her live. Being a servant was better than dieing wasn't it? Though Nissa loved her freedom she doubted she would last very long as a servant, once this whole thing with Avery was over she'd give it some more thought. She saw Karel coming and he stopped not far from where she was sitting.
"Its about time you showed up." she said loudly climbing down form her branch then jumping to the ground landing with cat like grace on the ground.
