"Coward!" she muttered, glaring at the forest. She stood there for a moment, before looking at Skylar, then a solider. "Get a first-aid kit, and water. We need to tend to her..."
The solider nodded and searched in his saddle bag for a first-aid kit, while Emily knelt next to the wounded girl, a frown darkening her features. Around her, soldiers made camp, tethering horses and collecting firewood.
"This is gonna hurt, Sky."
***** Sue smiled as she and her gang made their way through the forest, back to their base camp. "I'm sorry I got caught like that." she announced. "I didn't know that they'd send Emily of all people after me."
Much shrugged. "At least you're safe..."

"This is gonna hurt, Sky."
Skylar slowly opened her eyes and focused them on Emily. "Go after her. Leave me here and go after her. I'll be fine. Merely a flesh wound." the strain in her voice belied the light hearted words. She was in a lot of pain. And she knew better than to move and how awful her injuries were. The solider looked down at the girls and held out the first aid kit he had finally managed to find. He avoided looking at Skylar, he didn't want to see the girl that way. He was a tad squeamish, but said nothing.
-------------------------
"Much attend to her injuries our rescue would have been for nothing if she dies of blood loss." Robin ordered him. then turned the rest of the gang. "keep watch on the outskirts at all times! Everyone goes on watch. Rangers are trained trackers and stalkers. I don't want any unpleasant surprises."

Emily shook her head, taking the first aid kit from the solider. "We're not...I'm not leaving you. This looks like more than a 'flesh wound'." She smiled at the Knight. "I'm sorry."
******
Much nodded, and tended to Sue's wounds.
"Robin...are you mad?" Sue asked.

"But what about the mission?" she grunted. "What are you sorry for? You didn't shoot me." she half closed her eyes her hands balled into fists at the intense pain. She hoped she just fell unconscious soon.
-------------------------------------
He looked at her then looked at the trees. "You're safe now that's all that matters."

"That can wait." Emily said, looking concerned. "I'm not that revenge-driven...apoarenly unlike yo u bash and whackers."
She paused, looking at the arrow for a moment and then starting to rummage in the first aid kit for a moment before answering. "When you went down, I dropped my bow. The bedammned bandit caught me almost literally unarmed...
"Although, truth me told, I could've possibly thrown a knife at him...if he hadn't had an arrow ready. Didn't want to risk it."

Sue nodded and smiled slightly.
"Where's Allan? Is he still a part of the gang?"
Much shook his head. "No."
"Why not? Robin?"

She nodded. "Smart." she was starting to sweat and really wished someone would just pull the arrows out already and get it over with. "I knew I should of killed her when I had the chance. Some knight of the kingdom I am. I let one of the most dangerous people escape and then get shot. The king will be furious."

"Smart."
"I happen to be that sometimes," Emily said, smiling.
"I knew I should of killed her when I had the chance. Some knight of the kingdom I am. I let one of the most dangerous people escape and then get shot. The king will be furious."
"No, he won't, not if I can help that." Emily replied firmly.
She looked at the arrow wound and cringed slightly. "That looks like it hurts a little bit."

She looked at the arrow wound and cringed slightly. "That looks like it hurts a little bit."
Skylar gave a one shoulder shrug. "Like I said merely a scratch. But you should probably pull it out soon." Where had they gone wrong? They should have been more vigilant. She should have killed her when she had the chance. But it looked like she was out of the picture now. With an arrow to the shoulder and leg she couldn't go around chasing bandits. She couldn't even walk. At least she could still swing her sword. She sighed and just wished shed get on with it so she could go back to the castle and heal.

Emily nodded, and turned her attention to the arrow. It wasn't too deep into her friend's shoulder, but she could tell that it most likely hurt to beat hell. "I'm sorry if this hurts too much," she said, before gently pulling the arrow from Skylar's shoulder. The solider who had gone to get the first aid kit knelt next to her, handing over the kit.
"This might hurt, though I'm willing to bet you feel better without a arrow in your shoulder."

"I'm sorry if this hurts too much," she said, before gently pulling the arrow from Skylar's shoulder.
"You know you really need stop apologizing so much." she grunted and closed her eyes feeling the arrow go through muscle and skin as it left her body.
"This might hurt, though I'm willing to bet you feel better without a arrow in your shoulder."
"Mm well that remains to be seem I will have to get back to you on that." her voice was strained with pain, she tried to focus on something else but the sharp throbbing was taking up most of her concentration.
