Age: 22
Gender: Male
Profession: Bard
Appearance:
Rufus is a real looker. Genuinely hansom with his platinum blonde hair and soft blue eyes. Not overly tall but still tall enough he is 5' 8” and well built weighing at 180 pounds of lean muscle. He has a short goatee that ends in a point elongating his face and darker eyebrows that accentuate his eyes. He generally is seen wearing a purple vest over a short sleeved red shirt over a white long sleeved billowing shirt and blue pants with high topped black leather boots. Jewelry adorns his hands, wrist and neck, all of which is silver with some semi precious stones in the rings.
Personality:
Dash and debonaire, flirtatious and jolly, playful and occasionally mischievous are but a few qualities of Rufus, but never egotistical or rude unless it's by accident. He like his women and drink but knows when he has had too much of both. He is always trying to uplift everyone even when spirits are already high. He can sing so well that angels weep (exaggerated) and play the mandolin and ocarina exceedingly well, so much so he has been called a virtuoso of his time (not exaggerated).
History:
Rufus was born to a steadholder and his wife Bernard and Amara. They never had too much money but always seemed to have enough for some spoils in life. It is said that Rufus could sing before he could talk, which is true. He could perform many notes before he said his first words. Over time his parents managed to save up enough money to hire a tutor and teach the lad how to really sing and play the mandolin and ocarina. Once he turned fifteen he set off from his home in search of songs, gossip, and stories. Anywhere and everywhere he went in search of any note he could play or sing and any tale he could tell. It was his main goal in life to have as much fun as he could while lifting everyone up to his level of joy. During his travels he met a wanderer of the roads and entertained the man. Little did Rufus know that man was a master of martial arts and bowstaff fighting. In return for such an outstanding performance the man taught Rufus how to defend himself mainly using the bowstaff but he can hold his own in a fist fight. By doing this Rufus could travel even further out into the wild in his search of the best time of his life.
