Age: 16
Gender: Male
Profession: Messenger
Appearance: Edgar is slightly above average height at 5’ 9” with a fit - but not overly muscular - build. His eyes are a rich hazel color, and he has unkempt brown hair.
Personality: While Edgar can act a bit cold or distant at times, he is - at the end of the day - a kind soul. Edgar has a great deal of appreciation and trust in his family and those he considers his friends; his trust, however, takes time to earn. While he isn’t exactly suspicious of strangers, Edgar won’t be quick to accept them either, preferring to see what kind of person they are before passing any further judgment.
History: Born to a peasant family in Whitby Fief, Edgar had a relatively comfortable - although partly troubled - childhood; he played with other children within the fief, did his chores around the house, and assisted his mother and father in the farming of the family’s fields. Even with two sons and a daughter, there were few times where Edgar’s parents could not provide enough food for their table. Unfortunately, when Edgar was 8 years old he saw his own brother killed by a large feral dog. Edgar ran to get help, but by the time it had arrived where his brother was, it was too late.
As Edgar grew older, he took on the job of relaying messages in and around Whitby Fief. Edgar had always been athletic: helping with farm tasks, Be it letters or packages, Edgar would take them where they needed to go - for a small fee, of course. Due to events in his past and the fact that his work may at times take him out of the relative protection of Whitby Fief, Edgar has practiced fighting with a dagger over the past year, in case he ever needs to provide his own protection.
Additional Details: A fear of large dogs, prompted by his brother’s death
