I was asking if Tandar or Drenith had any objections to your idea about disrupting the faire:
"What if something [like say, a group of everyday bandits] disrupted the faire? Nothing big, but then someone finds out that something bigger is going on? Something that maybe is tied to whatever mission the SWC is being sent on? " as you posted earlier.

Is there anything for Delphi(Scribe) to do?

What if something [like say, a group of everyday bandits] disrupted the faire? Nothing big, but then someone finds out that something bigger is going on? Something that maybe is tied to whatever mission the SWC is being sent on? Yeah, that sounds like an interesting idea to me. We'll have to see what the SWC is doing to make up more details. Feel free to submit a plot proposal to make it official, Ivory.

Create a new thread. Take a look at Brandwyn's thread on the Gallican War if you need an example for a format.

Gotcha. Thnx.
But I'm going to wait until I've got a few more posts in before posting this one so it has a kind of base.
Unless you'd rather I didn't [wait]?

It's your idea. Do whatever you want. Waiting is fine.

How long do you think until the war's over?
Sheesh, hasn't even been a day and I'm already tired of waiting. lol. :-)

That depends on how long it takes the boys to come back and post. Looks like this week is going to be pretty uneventful in Scouting ahead, though I am advancing time in that thread and I am going ahead with the army getting over to Gallica.
I was hoping to wrap this war up in early June and get on to the Faire!
I think the war will go pretty fast once the army gets over there because we don't have many battle school people and I have the only two scouts right now and they are injured, so Tandar and I will probably just do a few epic posts on the actual battle.
However we have to give the SWC some fun, so they are going to get a crack at infiltrating the enemy and taking out their leaders before the army and during the Araluen Army's attacks.

By the way, did a couple of posts get deleted here in this thread? I could have sworn I answered cutbaby's query about what a scribe could do and I don't see Ivory's post that Tandar quoted from.
Just curious...

Never seen the answer to the post about the scribe, and Ivory's [mine] is the second one from the bottom on the first page.
Oh, and I don't think Tandar's going to be on this week because he's on the senior trip, but I"m not completely sure.
Though for me, I get a bad and a good out of it. :-) The good, is that I get his computer (which was rightfully mine. lol. :-) and the bad is that I have to wait longer for the Faire. *sigh* lol. :-)

You didn't answer it. I've been checking almost everyday. (bored I guess). Tandar's quote, or Ivory's, was taken from the first page.

Sorry. I know I started writing it. Must have jumped off the page before I posted it.
Anyway, the ideas I came up with were
1. That he could go with a courier to Teutlandt or Alpina and meet with the royals there to get them to join our side of the war. The courier may do the negotiating part, but a scribe would be along to draw up the treaty and enforce the finer points of the law.
2. he could travel with the army and chronicle the battles for posterity. You know, create a historical documentation of the events. There could be some danger in that, should he happen to get too close to a battle and end up having to defend himself.
3. He could travel with the army back to Norgate to deliver the signed treaty and iron out details with thier council.
4. He could make up posters for the upcoming faire and distribute them around the country (though we are not quite ready for that one just yet.)
Maybe that is enough to give you some better ideas. Hope this helped.
