[OOC: Yeah...things are getting boring here. Let's just go back to Araluen.]
Dalin nodded. Finally Ben understood him. "Shall we go then?"he asked awkwardly, not wanting to get the same reply as he did earlier. He tilted his head, waiting for his mentor's answer.

"Shall we go then?"
Ben sighed and turned toward the trail. "Might as well. No sense in sticking around here, now is there?"
It was a long trail with plenty of rain to keep them sufficiently saturated for the duration of the trip. Ben wished heartily that they had not left their horses in Araluen, and secondly, wished that the rain would move off and let them dry out. After another wet night on the trail, they reached the coast and Ben turned south. So did the rain. Ben commented, "Cheerful out here, isn't it?"

Dalin turned around to look at Ben. Was that a rhetorical question? Or a sarcastic one? That, he wasn't sure. The first question was a rhetorical question so Dalin didn't bother answering. He wasn't sure about the next one so he merely nodded. He looked at the sky.

Upon reaching the nearest port, Ben arranged passage to Araluen immediately. They were given a small cabin, and Ben was grateful to be out of the rain. At least, that's what he kept telling himself as the little tug moved out beyond the harbor.
As the storm followed them over the seas, Ben was continually reminded why he disliked sailing. At least this time he managed to keep his stomach down, he thought grimly. As the sea grew rougher, he promised himself that he would make Crowley's life misery the next time they met. In all probability, that would be at the next gathering.
