Elya just got back from throwing a bit of coin out to her parents in Seacliff, this money was hard earned blacksmith money because people somehow heard about the murder in Arradi. luckily, no one heard about a missing black horse who had deeply amber colored eyes. Elya smiled to herself as she took in her beautiful surroundings. Flower beds seemed to pop up at every corner. Butterflies danced in the wind. A small little town lay a bit more south from her current location. Must be Drayden, she thought to herself. She continued her little nature walk and then decided today Nightingale would make a gran reappearance. She was leading shadomere by the reins and decided that he had a long enough rest. She hopped onto the saddle and set off at a trot to the town. Upon entering the town, Elya smiled warmly to the few residents. She noticed this town lacked a forge. Upon further inspection the town DID have a forge, it was just hidden inside a building that had vines crawling up on it. Elya decided to see if she could rekindle the fire inside the forge. After a few hours, she got a blazing inferno up and running, Another half hour and she was able to get molten liquid. She started to spread word, and instantly people started to flow in. She got an overload of requests, but she was determined to finish them by nightfall. By the end of the night, the line reformed, coming to pay and collect their items. The last man seemed to be rather wealthy. He decided to strike up a conversation with Elya. "Huh, been a while since we had a proper smith here in Drayden." The man said with a bit of a Hibernian accent. Elya analyzed the man. He was quite portly and reeked of dead fish and garlic. He carried no weapons of sorts, but that was probably why she was making him a two handed Ax. He was sweating and his face was flushed red from a long day in the field. However, none of those things interested Elya, it was actually his large coin purse that caught her interest. 'Yeah, I'm more of a traveling smith, trying to earn my way to riches." She said rather distantly "The name is Joliah!" he said as he extended a sweaty hand to her. Elya shook the hand without question, she wanted to find out more about this person. "Name is Elya Woods, i was planning on staying in town for awhile, actually been planing on staying at Plain strider's inn over there." She said as she nodded to the only inn in the town. "Well Ill be! I actually own that inn!" Joliah said with enthusiasm. "A pity, looks like he won't be dying then." She muttered under her breath. "What was that?" Joliah asked with a happy smile on his face. "Oh nothing, i was actually thinking..." she said as she ran her fingers on the counter and biting her lips. " I haven't much money" She lied "And I was hoping the inn owner would be kind enough to.." She was cut off by a laugh "Of course you will get a discount! We can be buddies, and next time you come here you might even stay!" Joliah said with a hope in his eyes. "Yeah... buddies!" Elya responded with false enthusiasm. "Well i should be locking up now... here is your Ax and consider this one on the house." Elya said as she smothered the inferno in dirt and fire. "See you at the inn!" Joliah said as he turned tail and walked away. You sure will. Elya thought to herself. Elya flipped her cowl over her head, making sure to change into her thieves armor. This was constructed out of durable, but lightweight leather. She then clipped on the mail face mask and sheathed her two weapons. Shadowmere whinnied, "Of course your coming! i need you to strike fear into his eyes!" Nightingale said with a laugh. The sky darkened and she watched as the innkeeper was strolling out of town for a leisurely walk. Nightingale urged Shadowmere into a canter. They where traveling in the woods next to the walking path. Each step Shadowmere took was as silent as the night itself. They both where invisible to the world, apart from their glowing eyes. When they where at least 10 meters away from the innkeeper, Nightingale decided to dismount from Shadowmere, holding a hand in the air telling him to lay low and stay out of sight. She started to creep behind the innkeeper, following the tree line. Only when his ears twitched did she decide to pounce on him. Nightingale wrestled the man to the ground. "Make a noise and i will cut out your tongue she said as she unsheathed her swerve knife. Joliah gulped and held his hands in the air. Nightingale cut his purse from his belt loop and placed the contents in her pockets. Next she took out a piece of cloth and gagged Joliah with it. She tied his hands to a tree trunk and she tied his feet together. When she was sure he was secured she whistled loudly. Shadowmere came bursting through the trees, whinnying softly. He made quit a show as he eared and punched the air with his hooves. "Settle." Nightingale said. Out of her horses saddle pockets, she produced her Nightingale ring. She then constructed a small fire and put the ring inside it, allowing it to heat up considerably. After a minute or two, she withdrew the ring with her tongs and slipped it on her finger, she felt the heat, but she didn't mind, it was nothing compared to the heat of the forge... besides she had leather gloves on. She walked towards Joliah with a little skip. As she grew near she bent down and whispered to his ear. "Nightingale." she whispered as she brushed hair out of his forehead. She then continued to press the ring onto his forehead for about half a minute before she set go. He was struggling and screaming, but he couldn't be hard through his gag. The bone bird was burned onto his forehead and she splashed freezing water on his face to cool it. She then punched him in the temples, causing him to knockout instantly. She undid his bindings and rode to the inn where she left some pay on the counter and head off to her room. She got up in the morning as Elya. She hid her ring in the saddle along with the coin purse. She had also changed into her smith cloth's and she told Shadowmere to wait inside a makeshift shelter in the woods. She went downstairs and acted completely surprised at the Innkeepers tale. She left after she ate breakfast and she planned to return their again in a few months. Of course, she didn't leave without a surprise. She broke into the inn's vault unseen and withdrew most of the money, leaving on top of the remaining stuff a piece of parchment with her symbol on top of it. She secured the vault and left unnoticed.

Shadowmere stopped abruptly in mid gallop. "What is it?" Elya inquired. Shadowmere looked at her and then snorted, tossing his head at the tree line in front of them. "Oh god, I really don't want to have more blood on my hands... but money on my hands would be nice." Elya said aloud to no one in particular. Elya dismounted Shadowmere, changing into her Nightingale clothing. I should have a cape. Elya thought to herself. As she clipped on her chain mail mask and rounded the corner with her weapons sheathed, she noticed a traveling tax caravan. Hmm, This should upset the king. Elya thought to herself with a mischievous smile. She walked out into the open, spooking the caravan's horses. The horses started to neigh loudly and Nightingale just laughed. "what was that?" A man said from the clearing in which the caravan riders where resting. "Ahh, probably nothing, the horses probably saw a bird." Another man said with a chuckle. "Well, until we know that, i am checking. No use in putting the king's taxes on the line." The first man said. Nightingale could hear the man getting up and she quickly dove under the caravan for a hiding spot. The man came to check on the caravan, and reckoned nothing to be wrong. HE didn't bother checking underneath, but he did check inside to make sure none of the coin was tampered with. As he left, Nightingale slipped under the caravan and formulated a plan. All of the bags would be too big to carry on her own. None would fit in her pockets, and there where around forty of them as they went to make their last stop in the Northern fiefs. Nightingale looked around and she saw a rabbit coming out of it's den. Perfect! She thought to herself. She found a tree with an abandoned squirrel den in it. She couldn't see in it and she put her hand in, it was only about a foot deep, and it went to middle of the tree. This will be good. Nightingale started to empty the sacks one by one, very careful not to make a slight noise, into the hollowed out area of the tree. When she finished, she reckoned she had enough money to buy a house. Welcome to the big times girly. She thought to herself. Alopocate has some competition as best thief. Inside each of the sacks, she filled them with parchment of her symbol on it. I'm going to have to make more later on. She thought as she filled all but one bag. In the last bag she left a bit of a surprise that she gathered up not to long ago. She fled into the forest, watching from the protection of the undergrowth. The caravan people returned. They checked to make sure that all of the bags where there and they took their seats up front by the reins. They never suspected any tampering and they left without a problem. As soon as they where out of earshot, Nightingale gave a low piercing whistle. Shadowmere came by her side in the undergrowth, and she filled his saddlebag with the money. "Hey Shadow, maybe with all this money we can by you that horsey armor." Elya teased as she changed into her clothes. Shadowmere snorted. "Your right, it is too loud." She urged Shadowmere into a trot as they continued on the outskirts of Drayden. She didn't want to leave just yet, she wanted some action with knights or rangers. Her last act was sure to get her known. Elya found a tavern in a desolate little town just a mile or two away from the town of Drayden. This tavern welcomed her warmly and she picked up all the rumors about an invisible force, robbing an inn of it's money.

Elya got up in the morning to the thunderous sound of war horses hooves against the dirt road. "ugh, what is the fuss this time?" she voiced aloud, and then smiled as she looked out the windows and saw the kings knights positioning themselves in the town. "oh, it's me" she said with a happy shake of her head. She walked down the stairs and the tavern was buzzing with commotion. Almost everyone had heard about the tax problem over night. One man was whispering to his friend next to him, Elya was in earshot and listened in. " I heard that the mark on those parchment and on the rabbit where the same mark that was burned into Joliah." the man with the greased back hair said. "Nah, I heard that a band of thieves robbed the caravan and those parchment just resemble it." Said a man that was spinning a coin on a table. " Still, that means we have to watch our pockets and possessions." the first man said. Elya stepped into view, " What's all the commotion?" she asked as she slipped her hand onto the table, covering the first man's exposed coin purse. "Well, theirs thieves about. They where even so bold to rob the king's taxes!" the first man said excitedly. "Could it perhaps be a single thief rather than a band?" she asked, probing to see how far they knew. "Nah, that task is too big for one person." the second guy said. "Oh well I thank you for your time." Elya said as she walked away, scooping up the man's pouch with her. A few seconds later and Elya had placed the man's purse on the seat next to a diffrent man. "HEY YOU! WOMEN!" the first man shouted enraged. Elya spun around on a dime, she looked at the man with a calm face. "yes?" she asked innocently. "Give me back my coin.... Hey wait a minute!" the guy said as he stood up, he walked uP to the man that Elya framed and punched him in the face. This started a hole brawl in the tavern, and Elya slipped out and informed the knights. They rushed in leaving their horses unguarded. Elya tied a cloth around the horses legs which would cause them to trip next time they galloped. The horses where surprisingly calm. Elya then whistled leaving the town on Shadowmere would be a piece of cake. Her horse pounded into town, she didn't bother for him to slow down as she jumped on top of him. "They're stupid aren't they Shadowmere?" she said as she jingled the coin purse in front of her. The guards burst out of the building after solving the fight. Elya was well on her way back to Drayden town. She got a reasonable sum as a blacksmith from there and she decided she would lay low until complications arose.

Muhammad was in Araluen outside of a tavern in one of the Eastern fiefs. He read a wanted sign. Wanted A thief has been terrorizing the town of Drayden, more like a band of thieves it would seem. The insignia used by said thieves is a bird made of bones. This thief enjoys burning the insignia into the victims or leaving parchments of the insignia wherever the thief strikes. Only one person has seen/ identified this thief. They say that the thief is in fact a woman and that she wears armor that is very dark and muffled. She has a clip on mail face guard that attaches to her cowl. Reward: Depending on how you managed to capture this person and what information you have received from her, your prize will vary. Wanted Dead or Alive. Reward is less if dead. Muhammad took the parchment off of the board and hopped onto Nighthawk. He urged his horse forward and rode to the town of Drayden. He approached an innkeeper who bore the symbol on his forehead. "You there!" He yelled. "What do you know of this thief!" The innkeeper spun around. "Yeah i know her, she burned this into me." he said as he showed his burn mark, "Also, she robbed me off my coin purse and she stole coin from my inn's vault! She left this parchment inside." He said as he waved the parchment in front of Muhammad. "Thank you." Muhammad said with a nod, he then walked over towards where there was a crowd of people. It seemed this crowd was all gathering in front of some blacksmith lady who was sharpening and forging weapons. Muhammad waited patiently until the line ended. "So it seems you are gaining quite the business" he said to the woman. "You better watch your back from this Nightingale character, quite a thief i hear." Muhammad said. The woman looked uncomfortable when he said Nightingale, so she must know something about it. He looked around her shop seeing an odd horse in the woods behind her. "say, i have seen a horse that looks exactly like this one!" Muhammad exclaimed. He wasn't lying. He saw that horse when he bought Nighthawk from the Arradi horse breeder. Muhammad wanted to find out something and fast, but he needed to get in good with this woman for information. "Say, i actually need something, i am willing to pay a good amount of gold for it as well. You see, my armor has a broken strap, could you fix it real quick?" He watched as she fixed it and then he took his armor piece back. "I normally don't talk, and im only talking to you for one reason." He said in a hushed tone. "What do you know about this Nightingale. Do not deny that you know her, you tense up whenever i say the name. When i addressed you about your horse, who mysteriously looks the exact same horse that a friend of mine was going to buy before the tradesman got murdered and the horse was stolen. Now, you obviously are either in her band of thieves, your a friend, or you are family." Muhammad said quietly and quickly. he then backed up out of the woman's space and waited for her to answer, he was quite sure he had found a large clue.

Elya was suspicious of this new man. She didn't like the way he was talking. he so far only approached the inn keeper which was enough for her, she could tell, he was looking for Nightingale. His armor was peculiar. The many layers of it made her hot just to look at it, and that one gauntlet seemed odd. Why only one? She thought to herself. Then the man approached her stall. "So it seems you are gaining quite the business" he said to the her. "You better watch your back from this Nightingale character, quite a thief i hear." Elya grew uncomfortable as he mentioned her altar ego. She noticed his gaze go past her and into the woods. I should signal Shadowmere to get out of here. She thought. No, that would arouse suspicion. "Say, i have seen a horse that looks exactly like this one!" The man exclaimed. Elya went rigid, her whole body and soul began to tremble. This man knows what he is doing. Elya thought to herself. If this man could connect this horse to the murder in Arradi, he would know something. "Say, i actually need something, i am willing to pay a good amount of gold for it as well. You see, my armor has a broken strap, could you fix it real quick?" The man said. Elya fixed it but did something odd, rather than fixing it like normal, she created a loop in it. She had plans for this man tonight and she wanted to use this as her upper hand. She then held out her hand for the coin, but instead she got wrenched towards the man, almost getting pulled out of her stall. "I normally don't talk, and I'm only talking to you for one reason." He said in a hushed tone. "What do you know about this Nightingale. Do not deny that you know her, you tense up whenever i say the name. When i addressed you about your horse, who mysteriously looks the exact same horse that a friend of mine was going to buy before the tradesman got murdered and the horse was stolen. Now, you obviously are either in her band of thieves, your a friend, or you are family." he said quietly and quickly. He was obviously waiting for her reply and she scribbled something down on a piece of parchment. "Meet me here tonight at the time it says. come UN- armed or else i will have to kill you." Elya said to him. The man turned to walk away and she yelled out. "Hey, don't forget my pay!" She said. The man threw a coin purse to her and she counted out a good amount of coin. "Shadowmere, i need you to take this coin purse to our cabin by the brook, i have business to tend to." She said as she loaded her earnings today into Shadowmere's carry pouch. Her horse galloped away, fading into the darkness of the woods. As night time rolled around, Elya had put on her Nightingale gear. Her last step was to make it look like that she killed herself, so she covered her hands in the blood of a farmer's cattle. She then perched in a tree branch above the abandon shack in the woods. She watched as Muhammad entered. The idiot is armed! Nightingale said. She silently swore to herself and lowered herself onto of the roof. The roof collapsed in, and she instantly found two blades crossed at her neck. The blades where identical and she knew she had to think o something fast. She was about to reach for her sword when Muhammad kicked her in the ribs. Enraged Nightingale roundhouse kicked him in the face, however, Muhammad anticipated this and blocked it with his forearm. Elya jumped up and grabbed hold of the ceiling beams. She then hoisted herself up and out of the hole in the roof. She pulled out her flint and lit a branch on fire. She then sent the branch into the abandon shack and watched it burst into flames. Engulfing the bounty hunter in an inferno of heat.

Not far from the shack Nissa sat her back to a tree. She was munching on some cheese and smiled to herself. "The mouse and cheese how fitting." She muttered. She wondered if the small group of bandits even knew she had left and taken some coins and cheese wit her. She doubted it, they hadn't even noticed her as she approached them. She had jut finished with her very late supper when she heard a crash a few minutes later she saw a bright flame burst out. She frowned then grabbing her long bow and selecting an arrow and knocking it to the string she slowly and silently went to investigate. She made sure to stay in the deep shadows the trees made keeping out of the light of the moon at all costs. When she could see the shack she stopped she didn't want to be seen by the person who had set it on fire in the first place. From eh position in dark shadow and behind a tree with the cowl of her dark gray cloak up over her face she was nearly invisible. She watched the house burn and thought she heard someone screaming. Her eyes scanned everywhere in trees and around the building. She made sure not to stare directly at the fire lest her eyes sight have to readjust to the dark again. She had heard of the thief Nightingale and wondered is this was her handy work. If it was Nissa really shouldn't be here lest she come after her as a witness. That would just be a pain.

Elya was jumping from tee top to tree top, trying to stay off of the ground so no one could notice her. She wasn't sure if the man was dead, but she didn't care. She also didn't care that her uniform was ripped, she just thought she would make herself a newer, more stylish one. She checked to make sure her sword and swerve knife where still on her person. She then double checked her poison vials. LAst of all, she checked her finger for her ring, which was still on it. As she hopped onto one of the trees, she stopped and peered off at a tree that she swore she saw the branches move slightly. She slithered up a few more feet in her current tree, and continued her trek. If in fact, someone was in or near that tree, she would have the upper hand. As she approached the tree, she was about to swing onto it, but then the branch broke and she plummeted. She was sure she would die, but her hand managed to grasp a tree branch on the way down. From years of experience, she learned how to do this without causing her arm to pop out of it's socket or break. She looked up into the tree and tried to find someone, but she didn't see anything and she reasoned with herself it was probably some sort of squirrel creature. She trekked back to her riverside encampment on foot, always checking behind her to make sure she wasn't being followed. As she came out to the clearing, she realized that her good where no longer safe exposed in the open. She also realized that she was at high risk of getting murdered her sleep because if a bounty hunter had came after her, more would be coming. She quickly crafted herself a hunting bow, she needed some leather for her newest armor... leather and dyes. Elya was outside of Helga's Apothecary shop early in the morning. She knew that Helga would be selling the finest dyes and pigments and she needed them for her newest project. She was also fine with being away from her camp because she hid everything very well where no one would ever look for them, she also found herself a nice cave to cozy up in. The entrance was covered by hanging moss and dangling vines. This made it practically invisible into the cliff side. Shadowmere was inside her layer right now, sleeping soundlessly. "Ey, if it isn't our favorite blacksmith!" Helga yelled out happily as Elya entered the building in her traveling cloths. "What brings you here darling?" "Well Helga, i am actually looking for a permanent dye or pigment of a very dark blue color... something that blends in well with the night." Elya said as she walked over to a shelf. She instantly found bottles upon bottles of the color dye she was looking for. "Well your looking in the right place, that shelf your staring at has the finest dye... it's called Nightshade. Now you have to mash it up with some lavender and you got your color." Helga said, oblivious to Elya palming a few bottles and storing them in her satchel. 'I'll take two bottles." Elya said, those added to what she took would make six bottles of nightshade, more than enough for her outfit. Elya purchased the bottles and tipped Helga a single septum "Sorry Helga, i am trying to hide my wealth from Nightingale." Elya said innocently. She went to the blacksmith and unlocked the sliding door where she kept all her materials. Inside, she found a dark blue cloth and thread, and a very lightweight, yet tanned leather. She put a closed sign up on the stall, even though people could clearly see her working the thread and leather. She crafted herself five different pieces of armor in the course of three days. The first was a chest-piece made of the leather. On it, she smelted in a silver symbol. The symbol was her Nightingale bird. The chest-piece was sleeved, reaching down to her wrists and it hugged her skin tightly. Next she fashioned leggings for her. The pants hugged her skin as well, and had a layered look to them where she overlapped leather over leather. On the second day she fashioned a masked cowl for herself. This cowl was rounded all around, and the mask only left a space so the top part of her nose and her eyes could be seen. Along with the cowl, she fashioned herself a dark blue cape out of the cloth and thread, and his was threaded onto the back of the armor. The cape also had her symbol in steel on it. The last and final day, she fashioned herself gloves that went to her elbows made of the leather. She also made boots that went to the middle of her calves. She then took another day to dye all of this into a the dark blue color, leaving only the steel unstained. In the end, her finished product looked like it had been fashioned from the night sky and the shadows together. Elya hid her outfit inside her enclave. Then she went back to her shops to put all her materials back into the sliding panel. However, she did not realize that the wind had taken her plans and blew them to the outskirts of the wood across town. These plans included her next five heist objectives or pickpocket targets. Luckily she only put her symbol on it instead of her name so that no ties could be made to her.

As soon as his armor wasn't burning, Muhammad knew that it had worked. Wetting his armor before coming somewhere was always his method in case of fire. It helped to not set him ablaze. He knew it wouldn't last long, so he ran out through the crumbling walls of the burning shack. This created a quite yet resounding crash. He then yelled out, trying to make it seem like he was still being eaten by the flames. In the fire he had lost one of the pouches containing poison on his belt, but that could always be remade. He continued to run the opposite direction that he saw the Nightingale go when she left the shack. About halfway to the border of Drayden he stopped running and let out a shrill whistle. Nighthawk, who had been following him the whole time, cam to his master and brushed up against him. Muhammad took an apple from the satchel bag and gave it to his horse. "Nighthawk, tonight we ride to the borders of Drayden. We shall stay in a small village of which the name i do not know. " He said as he rode away.

Nissa stayed behind the tree and thought she heard someone approaching from the tree tops. She remained very still and didn't move a muscle. She didn't want to be found out by whoever it was that set the shack on fire. She was alone, small and didn't knew who she was dealing with, it was not a good idea to advertise her presence or to pick a fight with the person. She heard a branch snap and was glad that she was used to unexpected sounds and didn't jump. Even though it was killing her not to know who was stalking her she remained still and didn't peer around to see who it was. She heard them go off away from her after that and relaxed slightly. She saw a figure emerge from the shack and go off in a different way than the other person, she realized that the tall figure was headed for the border of Drayden. Mouse bit her lip unsure of what to do. Should she follow the person from the shack or the person form the trees? Either course had it's dangers, she could get captured by a ranger.. again. That was never fun, although she did trick one, one time into thinking that she wasn't a bandit but a lost little girl she had cried and everything. She smiled now at the memory, that had been the best ever, the fool! She had laughed for many a minute after escaping him while taking his coin purse without his knowledge. Nissa knew she had to be careful not to draw attention to herself, she didn't want a ranger to come after her. Or any other authority for that matter. When it was safe she stepped out from behind the tree and pushed her hood off her head she stepped forward still undecided as to what she should do. She had heard that there was a traveling blacksmith in town funny how that blacksmith and the nightingale attacks happened around the same time. Either Nightingale and the blacksmith were partners or something or it was just coincidence. But she somehow doubted it, she was a thief and had a pretty good idea how some of them worked double lives. She had often thought about it and had entertained the idea for awhile but then had realized that it was just way to much trouble. There was always that fear that someone would figure it out, you had to work extra hard at keeping it hidden then there was the whole thing of you needed a career and she didn't have anything other than thievery that she was good at. She had never really had any interest in joining any kind of theater troupe, and that was about the only thing she was good at. Acting. She decided to go into the town she needed some new metal heads for her arrows anyway, she grinned mischievously. She should dress up as a boy, she had done it before it was kind of fun. Fun part was no one had suspected a single thing, they had all thought she was a young boy whose voice had not changed yet. She nodded to herself yes she would do that it would make people less suspicious of her.
Derek also known as mouse strode into the village of Drayden. He had three arrows in his quiver and a bow in one hand. The boy looked like he could barely pass for sixteen he had a little bit of hair on his lip and a little tuft on his chin nothing to brag about. He wore simple brown pants and a faded red shirt with a dark gray cloak. Mouse had practiced walking for an hour and a half before she came here just to make sure she didn't accidentally walk like a girl. talking would not be a problem because she had perfected her man voice much since the last time she had done this. She walked over to the Blacksmith stall. "Umm excuse me?"

"Umm Excuse me." Elya heard a young child call out as she was forging a new blade. Elya whipped around to see a boy who obviously was in his teens, but had not completely gone through the changing. She scanned him real quick and checked her sliding door. Her strongbox was emptied yesterday by herself, she checked her pockets and was happy to know her false purse was still on her body. She could tell this boy was mischievous, especially because he had a boy, but his quiver only held 3 arrows. She also noticed that this boy had no visible money. She looked ino his eyes and saw a mischievous glint to them, but he had a really smooth face... Almost girlish. In her hand she concealed her swerve knife... Just in case. She also had her right had on the pommel of her sword behind the counter. She realized she was staring and that she had ruined the nightingale blade she was making for herself. She silently swore and addressed the boy. "How can I help you child?" she said with a fake smile. Elya guessed the kid would be a petty thief of some sort, aiming to take wares that she left about... Which as she checked, she hadn't.

"How can I help you child?" she said with a fake smile.
Nissa who was used to the comment would not have done anything. But Derek would be miffed at being called a child so she stiffened her back and put a scowl on her face. Nissa was also interested to notice that the girls darted her eyes around and gave her a suspicious look. "I'm 15 not a child!" she said a little irritably. Then composed herself and brought out one of her arrows from her quiver. She had hidden her five dozen arrows back at her camp. "I was wondering if you made arrows heads? I've been pretty brutal with my arrows and my others have chipped and broken. When I heard that there was a blacksmith in town I figured you could do a better job that me. How much would you charge for about a dozen?"

How much would you charge for about a dozen?" "Oh i am sorry sir." Elya said kindly. She was planning on saying it mockingly, but thought better of it. Elya almsot drew her sword and cut off the boy's head when she saw him take an arrow and point it at her. However, she calmed down realizing that he wasn't about to shoot it, so the immediate harm was taken away. "Hmm, well i can definately fix you up a few dozen arrows easily. However, i would need to know your draw weight, your draw length at full draw and i would also need to know what type of bow you shoot along with what type of tips do you want. Like barbed tips or broadheads or practice tips. So until i know that, i can't help you." Elya said rather coldly. She didn't like people trying to trick her, she already figured out that this boy was obviously going to be a thief of some sort. She hoped he had no idea what any of those where, for if he didn't that means her call was right and he was just using the arrows as an act, an icebreaker. However, if he does know all of this stuff, he is either sincere or he is very good at his trade and had already planned all of this out. Elya quickly thought to herself. She tapped her foot impatiently behind the counter, even though the boy couldn't see. She wanted an answer and if he tried to spring anything at all on her, she was going to make little boy soup. Should i call him child on more time to piss him off? No if he is 15 that means he is not more than a few years younger than me. ELya thought silently as she waited for an answer. Elya's thoughts wandered to the sword she was making. Now i have to restart for this brat. She thought.

This girl was jumpy. Nissa thought, best not give the cat any chance ot pounce on the Mouse. She played it smooth and answered the questions without hesitation. " My draw weight ranges around 45 to 50 pounds. It is a standard long bow that I made myself. My draw length is about 24 inches. And the standard broad head would be just fine." she had sensed that the questions had been a test to see if she was genuine or a bluff. most people would have been stumped, but archery and acting were the two things she was good at. She could paly a role up until she was discovered and even then she liked to pretend otherise it confused most soldiers. Which was actually very amusing but today was a simple get in get what she needed and get out without arousing suspicion. She knew that she should not mention anything about what had happened or anything about Nightingale or anything like that. If she was a 15 year old lad who lived on the outskirts of the village she probably would not have really heard anything. That and men weren't really prone to gossip like girls were. So mentioning it was a bad idea so she held her piece and decided to add a little small talk just because. "really me and my younger brother who is 13 are sharing the arrows. He isn't very good and keeps hitting rocks and trees instead of the target. Very annoying when I want to go hunting and can't cause all the arrows are broken. "

Elya was suspicious, very suspicious indeed. In fact she had her hand on her lockbox just incase he was trying to cut it through. She decided she would have to empty it very secretly. She did so and acted to shift uncomfortably so that she wouldn't draw attention to her actions. She slipped the earnings in her pocket and planned on putting them in her little alcove. Elya then produced from under the table a group of preprepared broad head arrows. She found the ones for his draw weight and threw them on the table lazily. She held out her hand to collect the money, she would not be short handed. "That will be 50 pieces." She said. She had drastically overpriced the item to see if the boy would run with the items or produce the money.

Mentally Nissa narrowed her eyes. She wondered why the lady was charging her so much for them. Probably to see what she would do. While she thought about her options she picked one up and made a show of examining it. She was not paying fifty pieces for six arrows. She wouldn't even consider it. It was not worth it. The arrows were good she gave the women credit for that but not worth that much. She set the arrow down and a perplexed expression came to her face. "I'm sorry but I don't have fifty pieces on me. I only brought twenty pieces." Of course that was a lie but the woman didn't need to know that. There was something fishy going on here, Nissa wasn't sure that this blacksmith was all who she claimed to be.
