I was browsing around the forums and noticed that the water-based sections are terribly populated. So, here's my idea. A pirate/merchant ship could get caught in a storm and be swept far out into the sea, shipwrecking on an unknown island. The people on the ship would then have to survive on this island or try to sail back to civilization--the obvious dilemma being that they have no idea which direction the mainland is in. More people could join at any time, considering that we could start off with many anonymous sailors and passengers on the ship that anyone could fill in. Other ships could also arrive on the island. This could start faction wars, or perhaps they'd make peace. Could peaceful travelers get along with a ship's worth of killers and thieves?
It might be interesting.

That sounds interesting.
Tandar will need to decide if that is another "plot" or not and if he wants you to start it now. Let us staff people talk about it and get back with you before you post anyting about it.
Also, if you want some sea type things to do, the Gallica war has the potential for sea battles. The Aslavian Navy is sailing around the south end of Gallica and trying to ambush the Araluen Army and Navy as they cross to Gallica.
I was thinking a big sea battle could be fun if we have some sea captains, wolfship captains, pirates, etc. who want to play.

Fantastic! (And then he realized this would be an excellent excuse to bring out the doctor! Every boat needs someone with a home first aid kit, right? *wink wink*)
