mmm, ok. I wanted Tandar or Aya to see him before I accept him, becaue I am VERY new at this (just made moderator yesterday!) and because he is a very unusual character. I like him and his history is well-thought-out. But I am not sure if they would have any objection to a jester running around with ranger stuff. Just wanted to let you know that was the hold-up, as far as I was concerned. I don't think Tandar has seen him yet. I don't think he had a chance last night to look at your character's profile. I am sure he will tonight.

Well, when I think of forester I think of a person who knows the forest in his area inside and out. So he could be a guide. He could have travelled to Gallica in the past and know the forrest and terrain there so he could guide the army or rangers or scouts around if you want to get in on the plot.
You don't have to participate in the plot either though, you could have something going on that is not related to the war at all.
Foresters would also be hunters and would probably be against any poachers that were killing off animals for profit in their forest. The could be trappers, trapping small animals like minxs, muskrats, beaver and the like and selling their furs - or other animals for that matter, like wolves or something.
If you want to get into the war thing, your forrester could show up in Araluen fief seeking a job as a guide over in Gallica possibly. The army is currently gathering there, so the commander of the army might be willing to hire him if he knows the terrain in Gallica well. He would also likely be very good at tracking. That also could be used the commander of the army and even Crowley, the Ranger Commandant.
Hope that gives you some ideas.

What if a group of people played the opposing side?

Just to give everyone a heads up, the SWC is about to leave Araluen to make a major attack on the Aslavian army. If you want any of the action, now would be a good time to get a character made, because there will be no non-SWC characters allowed.

What's SWC? And I'm not sure if I'm the best person to make the post, I'm still kind of new here and feeling my way around...I just thought it'd be interesting to actually have sides between the members on here. You know, a little payback. hahaha.

SWC stands for Special Warfare Corps they are a group of people who have talent in area such as mine Robert is the Artillary and we have our own private section that we command, so I get all the catapults and exsplosives.

Well, not necessarily. Because there's only 130 members all up, the private sections are mostly single people or one or two helpers. Otherwise there aren't enough stock standard fighting men.

Ivory, Tandar and I talked about this and we agreed that you may be a soldier or other person on the Aslavian side (or you could be a Gallican or Toscano on our side or a Scotti if you want). However you may not be a major commander of their army such as a general or the supbreme commander. (That right still resides with the staff so that we may maintain control of the plot.)
You would need to create a character for that side, just as you would any other character, or one of your current characters could be working for thier side.
Any questions?

Could I make and play more than one character in the same post?

Oh, yeah. I have Ian, Brandy, tory and Shanna in Scouting ahead and shortly Rick is going to be there too and Katrina and Lea are going to end up in the same one at the Front in the not too distant future. Tandar and Patrick are in Scouting ahead and Evanm7 has 3 guys in that thread. (We in fact have an amazing number of characters playing in that one.)
The main thing with that is if you have characters in a very active thread with lots of other players, you really have to keep on top of it and check it frequently during the week and post on it in turns (to some extent) because it is not fair to make the other players wait too long for you to post, and you don't want to steal all the action either (like I sometimes do - me bad!).
But yes, you can have more than one character in the same thread and in the same post. Just make sure if they are both in the same post that you identify clearly which character is doing what or speaking so it is easy to read.
