Henry Dell Advanced Category round 2 Skill level: 16 Armor: Full Armor (-6 from your roll) Shield: yes (minus 4 from your roll)
Henry takes stock of his opponent as they prepare to fight. He figures his shield is not really much more protection than Fisk's off-hand weapon.
(since we both have a shield or a sword in our off hand, it cancels eachother out. we don't have to mess with both of us subtracting the 4 points for the shield)

"Hey!" Fisk points his finger at Henry, "Don't you make me mad!" Fisk lunges in just as someone shouts, "Death before dinner!"
4 Right arm (light damage – flesh wound, bruise)

Fisk wavers but manages to complete the manuever. He sighs as he realizes that he's probably going to lose...unless Henry really goes off his game.

Henry chuckles as he parrys Fisk's lunge, but he doesn't answer. Instead he swings his blade again.
2 Miss (no damage inflicted)
Apparently he wasn't concentrating hard enough and so he takes a step back so they can both regroup.
"How about we start this point over? Why don't you have a go at it again?" Henry asked Fisk, a smile playing around the corners of his eyes. "I wouldn't want to make you mad by trouncing you right after missing you so heniously just now." He winked.
(OCC: If you want to reroll your 4, go ahead. Henry is giving you a chance at a do-over, since I have been letting everyone re-roll their 1 or 2's. Just didn't seem very fair to me in this instance. It gives too much advantage to Henry. Or Henry will concede the point and keep Fisk in the game if you prefer.)

(OOC: Gee, thanks.)
"I won't turn that one down, I want to see if I can't get some ground back!" Fisk said, accepting Henry's chivilrousness.
2 Miss (no damage inflicted)
"Aw, shucks! Now what? Forget this! You win! Let's just get this over with, already. This is about to turn into a circus!" Fisk shakes his head.

"No, no." Henry holds up his hand to stop Fisk.
You got that last point. Marshal, make a note, I concede the last point. The score is now 2 to 1 in my favor." Henry turns back to Fisk. "Now, let's continue and end this fight fair and square. On guard!"
When Fisk is ready, Henry moves to strike at him.
17 Torso back (severe damage – deep cut, vital organ pierced, spine broken)
17 + 16 - 2 = 31
total 31.
Henry waits for Fisks counter attack...

Sheesh! He expects me to counter that? Fisk eyed Henry warily a moment, then gave a wide grin and launched himself at Henry.
6 Right leg (light damage – flesh wound, bruise)
6+15= 21-6=15
Henry wins, 3-1
"Ah, well, can't always have a good day now can I? Maybe I'll have better luck whuppin' Ryan, now. You've outmatched me for today. You ever need a job, you sign up for the Guard and I'll even vouch for you!" Fisk grins mischieveously and holds out his hand to shake. "Good luck with the rest of the tourney, Henry."

Henry smiles and shakes Fisk's hand. "If the Army turns me out someday, I will keep that in mind." He winked. "Thank you, kindly, and tell Ryan I said hello." He nods his head and exits the field.
