Armored Combat: Knight/ Officer level Round Three
Katrina de Montgomery Knight/Officer Flourentine longsword Skill 18 Armor: Full Plate (minus 8) Shield: yes (has a longsword in both hands) (minus 4)
Katrina considered switching weapons when she saw who she'd drown for her next battle, but decided against it. Ecosse was a formidable opponent from what she had seen of his fighting thus far. Her best skill lay in her Flourentine longswords and so she decided to stick with them
She nodded her head and gave Sir Ecosse a salute with her right sword in front of her forehead as he entered the ring. Then she was all business, ready for the horn to sound and the fight to begin.

Katrina smiled and nodded her thanks and then attacked again with sudden speed.
1 Fumble (attacker drops weapon, trips, string breaks etc.)
She somehow got her feet tangled up ond down she went, rolling over and back up again, several feet from her opponent. Her face turned quite red at the blunder.

"Well, that is what I get for trying to show off." She said in exasperation. Gathering herself, she concentrated again and stalked Ecosse, waiting for an opening. At last she saw one and took a chance.

Certainly not her best effort. Her spirits dipped a little.

Katrina partially blocks the blow and moves to throw one at his head but drops her blade at the last instant, attempting to slice across his torso.
2 Miss (no damage inflicted)
She misses him again and marvels at how he can dodge away from her blade like that.

Concentrating again on her opponent and his no-nonsense manner she waits for an opening.
3 Left arm (light damage – flesh wound, bruise) 3 + 18 - 8 = 13

Shaking her head in shame, Katrina concedes the match, wondering how she had lost. She smiles ruefully at the Knight and shakes his hand. "You are formidable Sir Ecosse. I am honored to have been beaten by you and may I never have to fight you in earnest for I would hate to have to kill you." She grinned, her eyes dancing merrily.

Lady, to die beneath your sword would be no shame, however I intend on fighting next to you not against you!
"As a Lady I would kiss your mailed gauntlet but as soldiers I offer you my 'and!"
