Drenith
Age: 19 Gender: Male Profession: Government Agent Appearance: Drenith is 5 feet and 10 inches tall and has a slim body type. He is light–skinned, and his core muscles are toned from years of regular intense physical training. A mop of unruly, shaggy, black hair covers his head, which he attempts to keep swept to the side out of his forest green eyes. Some might have considered him handsome if it was not for the large, curved scar on his right cheek. His favorite outfit consists of a maroon, long–sleeved shirt with a leather jerkin over it and a pair of tan trousers with matching boots. Personality: Since he prefers to listen rather than speak, Drenith has been called quiet, shy, and Silent One, amongst other things. He has found that he can gather a copious amount of information just by keeping his mouth shut and hearing what people have to say. Curious by nature, he is fond of discovering secrets. He has few friends but is very close to each of them. Although relatively inexperienced, Drenith is highly trained and eager to prove himself. His loyalty is unwavering. History: Drenith’s parents were shepherds in the fief of Redmont. When he was 6 years old, his family took the wagon into town for supplies on a cool October morning. On the return trip, a band of highwaymen on foot approached their horse–drawn vehicle laden with goods and attempted to stop it. Drenith’s father saw an opportunity and tried to outrun the men with the wagon. The outlaws opened fire with their bows, and one of them managed to reach up and slash at the passing vehicle with a scimitar, striking young Drenith on the right side of his face. The barrage of arrows mortally wounded both of his parents and injured one of the horses causing the wagon to slow down. Miraculously, a mounted warrior of some kind engaged the highwaymen from horseback, scattering them. He snatched Drenith from his seat and galloped away before the robbers could regroup. The mysterious warrior treated the boy’s wound and rode to Castle Redmont where he left Drenith in the courtyard with a note pinned to his shirt and a soft, blue, fleece blanket around his shoulders. A sentry found Drenith and the boy was admitted to the ward. The note was written in an unknown language, and no one at the ward was able to decipher it. Drenith kept the scrap of parchment in hopes of being able to read it in the future. He grew up hating the miserable confines of the ward, wishing he could travel and have exciting encounters. The young boy was a victim of frequent bullying from the other children due to his scarred visage and withdrawn personality. Beatings were not uncommon. The blue blanket came to be an item of comfort for Drenith, and he sought its reassurance often.
At age 14, Drenith was accepted as an apprentice Ranger and began his training with Tandar Polaris in Meric Fief. A year later, he and his mentor were deployed to Gallica where they assisted with the war effort and became good friends with Brandwyn Elfstone and Tory Waterton. Drenith sustained injuries to his forearm and thigh caused by arrows during the Battle for La Rivage. A physician told him the serious break in his dominant arm would be life changing because it would likely never return to normal. Due to the grim outlook, Drenith resigned from the Ranger Corps upon returning to Araluen. Surprisingly, the bone in his arm set correctly, and after months of healing and physical therapy, he was ready for duty.
Near the end of his therapy, a recruiter for the Araluen government extended an invitation to Drenith, offering him an opportunity to become an agent. Additional Information: Drenith is prone to seasickness. He seeks revenge for murders of his parents.

That looks good Tandar, you fleshed him out quite nicely. I can see him asking around to find out what the language the note was written in to get it deciphered. A quest to find out his past.
((But one question....
Where's his thieve's guild uniform? (chuckle) JK!))
