Nissa could feel someone watching her. She sighed a little would they ever just give up? Probably not, she was a wanted and dangerous criminal after all. On the one hand she was flattered that she was so troublesome that she was even on all the rangers agenda to be caught. On the other it severely annoyed her because it stopped her from getting good sleep on nights like this. Her fingers slowly gripped the hilt of her sword that lay concealed by the blankets next to her. On one smooth movement she got to her feet holding the sword out before her, her blanket fell the ground at her feet. The small fire glinted off her blade and she looked extremely annoyed. "I know you are out there watching me I can feel it. So why don't you come out of hiding ranger. Or are you a coward who only does his work in the shadows?" She hoped that the ranger didn't know much about her other than she was wanted and had the tendency to escape in the oddest of ways. The sword wasn't her first weapon of choice, her bow was her first choice. But since it was a ranger she didn't feel like going for her bow since he would probably shoot her faster than she could nock and arrow.

"On one smooth movement she got to her feet holding the sword out before her, her blanket fell the ground at her feet."
Jonah heard a rushed noise. He looked down at Nissa's spot and saw she had jumped up, sword in hand. How had she known he was there? He was a ranger, after all.. Jonah remained in his position, waiting to see what would happen next.
""I know you are out there watching me I can feel it. So why don't you come out of hiding ranger. Or are you a coward who only does his work in the shadows?""
Jonah found this quite brash for the girl to say. He could easily take her out. With one smooth movement, he un shouldered his bow. "What do you want, girl? You know that I can kill you in an instant. You are wanted. I am here to lock you up. Be careful what you do, or you may never finish your sentence.." Jonah thought to himself what to do.

"What do I want? I want you to leave me alone!! That's what I want! I want to be left alone! Fine be my guest then kill me and be done with it!" Nissa was cranky she wasn't a late night person and she HAD been sleeping when he'd shown up. "Fine here," she tossed her sword to the ground and put her hands over her head. "Take me away, lock me up!" Nissa was beginning to regret ever moving in the first place, she probably could have taken him out if she had just let him get close enough. She felt exposed she felt like she had a very large target on her front that was inviting him to just shoot her. She needed a plan of escape but until something happened she didn't really have one. She didn't know where the ranger was so dashing off into the woods wasn't a good idea at this current moment in time. her bow was on the other side of the fire and once again she didn't know where he was soo diving for it and shooting off blindly into the woods was again not the smartest choice at the moment. It was his turn to make a move weather that would be coming into the open to tie her up or just shooting her she had no idea.

"Fine here," she tossed her sword to the ground and put her hands over her head. "Take me away, lock me up!" Jonah had to think. This could easily be a trap- but then again, he was a Ranger and could probably take her. He had the advantage of surprise, since she didn't know where he was exactly. So, he decided to quietly slip down from his tree position and move in. As he slithered through the brush, he knew he had to act fast. He nocked an arrow onto his bow, ready for anything. As he drew near, he could see the girl. She seemed a tad frightened, but seemed to have her self collected. His next move would be decided on her next move.

Nissa did her best to try to see where exactly the ranger was but even though her eye sight was good the fire and the fact that he was a ranger defeated her eyes. She tried to listen for the sounds of a person near her campsite but that was a fail as well. He was a ranger and of course moved swiftly and silently. She reviewed her options which where in fact not many. She could dive forward and grab her bow and quiver but her bow was unstrung so she would have to waste precious minutes she didn't have to string it and pray that the ranger didn't just shoot her and be done with it. So that option was out. Her next option would be to smother the dieing fire and run off into the woods. But again the ranger would see the movement and probably just shoot her before she could get away. So that was out to. She could of course just run into the black night of the forest and melt away much like a ranger could do, only problem with that was the ranger would shoot her before she could and she didn't know where he was, if she dashed off into the forest provided he didn't just shoot her she very well could just run right smack dab into him. So really her only options were to wait and see what transpired.

It was apparent that Nissa was not going to make any move at all. He had to go forth and do what he must. As Jonah got closer to the fire, he stopped, so he wouldn't be seen by the firelight. He snuck up behind her back, and stood up very close to her, bow raised. "Hold it right their, young girl. You are under arrest by order of the King. What do you have to say?"

"Hold it right their, young girl. You are under arrest by order of the King. What do you have to say?"
Nissa went back and forth as to weather or not one of her most believable lies would work on this ranger? Usually when caught she was burst into tears, and tell the believable story of her parents dieing in a house fire, then her thievery just to eat and that was when a group of bandits saw her. They made her steel the stuff, it wasn't until recently that she had managed to escape them. It had happened before thats where she had gotten the idea. Although she doubted it would work on a ranger, mostly it just worked on soldiers and soldiers where mostly pretty gullible. Instead she decided to do something else. She sighed and let her shoulders drop her head bowed, she let her arms dangle limply at her sides.
"You got me. Take me away now." her voice was resigned as if all her life she knew this day would come. Well it was true anyway she HAD expected this to happen all of her life. Well her theiveing life anyway. She brought her hands behind her back where he could see them. And crossed them as if she was waiting for him to tie her up.

"Take everything off of your person." Jonah said. He hopped down from his position and slowly walked toward the girl. He knew she probably wouldn't give up this easily. "Lay facedown with your hands remaining on your head."

Nissa's eyebrows shot up in surprise at that. She swiveled her head around to look at him an expression of distaste and shock on her face.
"I didn't think they let perverts in the ranger corps. If you think I'm taking off my clothes you've got another thing coming pal!" She gave him a good glare, she could barely make him out what with his cloak and the shadows and such but she had a general idea as to where the disembodied voice was coming from. Then she looked down at herself to see what she could possibly take off. She had been sleeping so she had no weapons strapped to her belt in fact she wasn't even wearing her belt it was on the ground somewhere. The only thing she had was her dagger and that was in her boot. She had to make a decision and fast. She could either take off her boots and drop her dagger or she could keep them on and risk the ranger seeing it. She sighed inwardly this was just not going her way at all. She bent down and pulled off her boots in sheathing her dagger and tossing it a little ways away, then Mouse knelt down on the ground hands behind her head. But she didn't lay down that was just to undignified. "Now what? You gunna search me yourself?" in fact she rather hoped he would then she could attack him and run away.

"I only meant for you to take off your weapons and such," Jonah said as he approached. Jonah stepped forward to tie up the girl. He was thinking of every possible thing she could do to him right now. As Jonah crept forward, he removed a knife in case he was attacked. "Don't move. I will strike if you try anything funny."

Mouse snorted. "Sure ya did." she snorted.
"Don't move. I will strike if you try anything funny."
"Mmmm yes, hitting a defenseless girl is very much a ranger thing to do. I expected no less from you than what i have so far received." She heard him draw a knife and knew that he really was prepared to deal with her. he was far enough away that a sudden dive could catch him off guard it would also bring he r level with her dagger. Her sword was a little ways away from her dagger but a dive for the dagger seemed the better option since it was closer. She could also dive to the side and twist so that she would at long last come face to face with the ranger who had caught her snoozing. She had to make this decision now before he was to close and it would do nothing but get her hurt. It was risky, but she was a bandit and risk was a daily part of her life. She decided it was worth the risk. Without warning she threw herself forward as she came into contact with the ground she pushed on her hands to give her a little extra length and as she came down again she twisted so that she was now looking at him her hand reached out and grabbed her dagger, her fingers curled over the hilt. Her body tense her mind alert for his next move.
