Name: Brandwyn Elfstone
Age 17
Gender: Female
Type of Apprentice: Royal Scout School
Appearance: I am 5'7" tall with long blond hair that is normally tied back with a blue ribbon. I weigh around 150 lbs., and have an athletic build. My eyes are blue and my complexion very fare - too fare, for I get sunburned easily. People say I move gracefully, though I don't really see it myself. I am usually wearing black leggings with calf high black riding boots, a long, poofy-sleeved white shirt and a royal blue vest with matching leather archer arm guards. I have a heavy, black wool cloak with a deep hood and carry a 45 pound recurve bow with a double quiver of arrows (24arrows) and a saber strapped to a belt around my waist.
Personality/Attitude: I am generally an easy-going, friendly person, but can often be a bit too serious, especially around strangers. I dislike being in crowds - especially in small rooms and enclosed spaces (like jail cells or small caves) give me the creeps. I love horses and archery and snooping where I don't belong, but I get the most joy from fencing. I tend to make friends/acquaintances quickly, but don't let many people get to know me deeply. I really hate spiders - I don't really fear them - I just loath them. I have above average intelligence and tend to get very frustrated with people who have no common sense. Some have even called me "stuck-up" on occasion because I just ignore people who are just plain stupid rather than deal with them.
History: I am a very recent ward of the Baron of Meric after my mother recently died from an infection. My father had passed away two years earlier in an accident with one of the battle horses. He was a horse master in the Baron's stables. The Baron took me and my younger brother in and offered us places in an apprentice school. I chose the Royal Scouts because I work well with horses (having had some experience from helping my Dad) and like to wander around sticking my nose where it doesn't belong. My second choice would have been to follow in Dad's footsteps and apply for horse-school, but I figured they would think me too weak or small to train the battle horses.
Other: I enjoy doing riding drills - where the horses are all lined up and they move as a unit across a battlefield providing support for the foot soldiers. Just a side note: my mother would never have approved of me joining any apprentice school. She had hoped to marry me off to a wealthier noble family. I am not particularly interested in getting married and having babies - at least not yet anyway.
