Age: 27
Gender: Male
Profession: Ranger
Appearance: Arow has short black hair which was shot with streaks of silver adorning his head and an almost permanent five o'clock shadow. He is not overly muscular but is very well defined. He is shorter than the average man by half a head. He is very agile and walks like he barely touches the ground. There is a distinctive scar across the bridge of his nose that he received from one of his many knife fights.
Personality: Introverted is a good way to describe Arow, and he speaks only when he deems it necessary. He rarely shows emotion, giving a cold impression to others, though this is not his intention. One of his most defining characteristics is the great value he places on preserving human life. He has stated that he hates unnecessary casualties, though a few knots, bruises, broken bones, and cuts are acceptable. His vicious streak comes from fighting in the pits where ruthlessness reigns.
History: Arow was born to a very abusive father and a never present mother that was more focused on pleasing the unpleasable father than her own child. When Arow was a young boy his father forced him into fighting in an underground knife fighting pit where people gambled on whom would win. Luckily he was fast enough to survive. He was forced to kill many other young boys in those hellish pits. As time passed and Arow honed his skill while increasing his strength, he confronted his father who preceded to beat his "ungrateful" child. As Arow was being hit he grabbed one of the nearby knives and proceeded to do what he was forced to do. He killed his father without remorse. His mother walked in on the scene. She almost appeared to break at the loss of her husband, she lost her mind. Arow was 14 at the time. He made his way to Redmont and swore to himself that he would never take another life unnecessarily and put a stop to the injustices in the world like the one he had to endure. Being accepted into the ward was easy and he bided his time until the choosing day. When that day came he walked up to the Baron with his head held high and asked to join the rangers. No ranger was present at this choosing but Baron Arald agreed to get one soon so Arow could have a mentor. The Baron sent off a message and a test was presented to Arow. The test was to see if he could defend a person from being bullied unmercifully. He passed the test with flying colors and only managed to scare the bully straight. Time passed and Arow was officially apprenticed to a ranger named Quinton. Quinton taught Arow how to ride and shoot. This is also where he got his interest in alchemy and herbology. More time passed and Arow eventually surpassed his mentor in archery while still keeping his skills with knives and learning many helpful mixtures using the herbs he could find. Eventually he passed his test acquire his silver leaf. He is still waiting on an assignment to a fife. In the meantime he travels from fife to fife in search of wrongs to right and criminals to be brought to justice while helping out the local ranger in whatever they need whether it be information or outright assistance.
Additional Details: He carries on himself two seax knives, two long seax knives, and a recurve bow. His horse is named Highwind, named so for his increadable speed and jumping ability. He also has shown promise in alchemy and herbology and reads up on it any chance he can get.
