Gender: Female
Profession: Rouge, specifically thief-wench with a sword
Appearance:
Myrtle is what many call normal. She's about 5'6", with tanned, Mediterranean skin. Her dark hair is wavy, but cut to shoulder blade-length, always groomed daily. Her eyes are a gentle brown, despite her fiery nature. Commonly caught wearing men's clothes; a tunic with a jerkin with long shorts. She likes beauty but, being drunk half the time, she looks like a slob.Personality:
Myrtle has the fiery, rebellious nature of a teenager, but the home-sickening feeling whenever she sees families. Witty, but slow. Reckless and rude, but gentle at heart. Loves to travel, drink, and eat. Hates being captured.History:
Myrtle grew up as a young farmer's girl in Redmont. Her family was large, consisting of her, her mother, her father, a sergeant, two sisters, and three brothers. She's the youngest. The girls in the family were educated well. The siblings quarreled often, but always helped each other in desperate times.Additional Information:
Myrtle was 12 and ready to try and gain apprenticeship at the local inn when she heard her father was killed. Her mother was carrying another baby, but she left the house in desperate measures to find her father. From there, she missed Hackham Heath and was stranded by the seas. A group of travelers offered to take her back, but they were attacked by pirates and she was taken across the ocean.
Escaping the pirates' clutches, she found her brother, Crispin, in La Rivage, working as a storyteller for little money. Both of them wanted to get back to Araluen, but both didn't have any money. Myrtle was the one who came up with stealing as an option and Crispin agreed with her heartily.
Barely on the edges of 20, Myrtle and Crispin have been terrorizing the streets of a small town on Gallica coast. They've scrounged up enough money, and information, to get back to Araluen. When Crispin read up enough on ships to sail one, they captured a small cargo ship coming in with fish supplies and sailed back to their country. From these seven odd years of petty theft, Myrtle would dress up and drink at the taverns every night. It became an addiction.
Now, they're back in Redmont. Crispin has split up with her and is traveling up north. Myrtle is trying to get her thieving control, but is having no success.
Strengths: She can fight. She can run. She can fight while running. She's pretty smart, is picking up cooking skills, and she knows when to plan and when to not.
Flaws: She's a complete alcoholic, and a kleptomaniac. Myrtle has no official training, as well as little manners. Low on money, she doesn't know how to work most jobs. She's an easy target. She can't think quick.
Allegiance: Herself and her family. Is not afraid to insult the government, which has landed her in some trouble before.
