Accepted.
But I have a couple of questions for you (and some information and advice);
When you say, "also his battle armour is made out of long wire. " Do you mean his armor is made of chain mail?
Chain mail is a series of loops of heavy metal wire interlocking together and is very effective against slashing swords. I have never heard of armor being made of "long wire" so if it is not chain mail, could you please describe what you mean in a bit more detail?
Also, just to possibly clarify for you, generally if you are using a one-handed sword, the type of fighting you do will be messed up if you use two hands on it. When using a two-handed sword you move differently, you swing attacks and block differently than you would with a single-handed sword.
This is something that you would learn - both single handed and double-handed weapons as you go through Battleschool. Also, if you were seen using two hands on a single handed weapon in the battleschool, your instructors would correct you again and again until you stopped doing that.
Generally two-handed weapons work better for larger people and short or long swords work better for more normal sized people. (Myself, I like doing Florentine - that is a short sword in each hand rather than a sword in one and a shield in the other. I can move much more quickly and don't get tired as quick as I do when carrying a shield. This style of fighting requires one to have a lot of stamina and be very, very fast with both swords in blocking and attacking, and to move around your opponent a lot - fancy footwork. It is not the style to do when fighting in a shield wall formation.)
Anyway, that really doesn't matter in us accepting your character or not, I just thought I would give you that information and that you might find it interesting and helpful.
One question I do have, though, is if he was raised in an orphanage (or as a ward - the same thing), then how would he already know how to use a sword?
I would suggest that you change it so he has a natural talent for using a sword which will be discovered as he begins battleschool (like Horace in the books).
Otherwise, you should probably come up with some plausable way that he would already have some knowledge of sword fighting in spite of being raised as a ward. Editing his background with a bit more details to explain it would be a good idea.
Just some suggestions. Do explain about the armor, however.
Thank you and welcome to Halt's Playground!

Your modifications look good.
Accepted!
(Sorry it took me so long to respond back, I didn't realize you had made the changes - it is Tandar's fault - he was distracting me! Grin!)
