Age: 14 Gender: Male Profession: Ranger's Apprentice Appearance: Has blond short hair, small sized, about 155cm tall, scrawny, fast, agile, neat(most of the time), eyes are blue, hair reaches shoulder, nore or les handsome.
PS. If anyone reads the Harry Potter series, he looks kinda like Draco Malfoy. Personality: Does not really obey rules and regulations, inquisitive, a bit reckless, brave, smiles a lot , likes to joke around, can be VERY sarcastic at some times, but usually friendly, trustworthy and open. History: Son of Sir Loren Pringsdale, one of Araluen's battle leaders, and Reltan Bonagle. He has 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and all older than him. Mother favours him to his older siblings as he is very sweet and adorable. His father started teaching him how to use a sword once he was 7. However, when he was 11, his father was killed by a Wargal. Since then, his mother brought him up till he was old enough to become a apprentice. He wanted to be a Ranger, so secretive, practising "Black Magic". Additional Information: A bit similar to Gilan but Dalin's father died. Knows the basics of using a sword but would definitely lose to another Battle School apprentice.

Accepted, but I am a bit confused by your last sentance: "Knows how to use a sword quite well but not very."
that seems to contradict itself.
He may have a sword if you wish. From the background, unless he is spending extra time while training as a ranger in sword fighting (which he could be doing if you want), then he would probably know the basics of swordplay, but not be all that great at it. He would know enough to not be a danger to himself, but if he went up against a battleschool apprentice of the same age or someone more skilled, he would probably be defeated.
Does that sound like what you had in mind?
If not, please clairfy that last sentance. Otherwise a very good character!
Welcome to Halt's Playground!

Yup! Thanks! But he'd rather not train to be an expert fighter, just that he would beat EXTREMELY lousy fighters.
BTW, if I do become a ranger's apprentice, who will be the ranger/ mentor?

You can post on the arrangements section that you are looking for a mentor.
I would have to go check, but I am not sure if there is another ranger that doesn't currently have an apprentice of the active players. So don't be surprised if no one picks you up right away. We may have to resort to having two apprentices at some point.
But go ahead and post it. Chances are someone will create a ranger or two for the upcoming gathering that is planned after we finish the war in Gallica plot.
You can make more than one character too. Up to 10. Be sure you have read the rules and you might find the guidleines helpful too.
Most importantly, have fun!
