I feel that Halt's Playground could use a moderator. If you are interested in filling the position, copy the format below and paste it into a reply post with your answers. You must have at least one in-character post on the forum so I can evaluate you. I'll post the result in a week or so.

I apologize if the text appears cut off on your screen. It should say this: You must have at least one in-character post on the forum so I can evaluate you. I'll post the result in a week or so. For the most part, moderators monitor the boards to ensure the rules are being followed, accept or decline character applications, and help out the administrators with plots, special events, and other behind-the-scenes type of stuff.

Mmm, looks like I am already doing a little bit of that, doesn't it?
So, I'll throw my hat into the ring.
Why would you be an excellent moderator?
I think I would be a good moderator because I will be able to quickly respond to people's questions and approve characters since I am frequently on this site. I also can assist people who are having trouble with making their posts readable and coherent, should the need arise.
Why do you want to be on staff?
I want to see this site succeed and thrive because I am having a lot of fun here and I think I may be able to keep some interest by introducing new plots and things.
Are you going to remain active?
I plan to remain active, though I should warn you that I might not be on "every" day during the spring and fall months when the jousting shows and SCA stuff with my horse pick up. I will miss some weekends, but should be available week days.
(I should also warn you that I currently don't have any web page building skills whatsoever. I am planning to go back and take some classes and get a certificate in web page design, but I am not exactly sure when I will pursue that. So don't plan on making me an admin any time soon, ok? (Jumping the gun on that, I know, but I saw how quickly you moved up from Moderator to Administrator - wink wink.)

I'll give it a try too!
Why would you be an excellent moderator?
I'm extremely good at following rules and regulations, i've taken a Creative Writing class at Haas Hall Academy, one of the top 10 schools in the U.S. with an A+, and I really love rpg's and Ranger's Apprentice.
Why do you want to be on staff?
I really love this site and everything about it, so I'd love to give it a try being on the staff. Ranger's Apprentice is my life, and I really enjoy being part of Halt's Playground's community. Being on the staff would help bring in more fun in my life. Also, I really like helping other people.
Are you going to remain active?
I haven't really started being very active these past few weeks, but now I intend to be on every day for at least an hour. So, yeah, I'll be pretty active8

I'll do it too
Why would you be an excellent moderator? I would be good because I'm active alot and I like to read other people's post and I'm very good at following rules and such. I also like to help people and I can spot peoples mistakes (I help my friend edit her stories) and I have some flaws but I try my best to work on them. But I won't lie and say I'm the bes tchoice because I belive that Brandwyn would deserve it more than me.
Why do you want to be on staff? I like this site and Ranger Apprentice, but I would like to help with it as I'm good with computers and stuff and I think I could contribute alot to the site and I'm very helpful
Are you going to remain active? I am extremely active about a half hour to an hour a day and I plan to stay active unless I have problems with my computer or other things such as a family/friend emergency.
