My werewolves can change at will. . . but they are forced to on the full moon. . . and Hecate is their goddess, they must worship her or face her wrath, a shower of burning silver rain.

It seemed there are many fables concerning the life of a werewolf. I've even read a count [old court oder when they tried a grop of young men who swore they were werewolves in the fifteenth century I think it was...?] where the 'werewolves' swore that they were doing the will of God by defending those from the Demons of Hell Satan wished to release upon the harmless. Kind of interesting and the only one I found like that, though darn it I wish it wasnt' lost in the crashing of the computer...

O.o Oh wow. I would want to be able to shape shift into a dragon, pheonix, or griffin. I can't pick

All with the ability to fly. Same here. Why pick something to change into if you've got the same restrictions? I couldn't decide between air or water, but air only won because of the ups of being immortal. :-)

Yeah. Being able to fly totally rocks. But I would prefer to be an elf(riding a dragon).

Why not just be the dragon? You get fire fire. Bang bang. lol.
And what kind of elf? Like the ones in Eragon or the ones that dance in the moonlight without a care in the world?

The ones in Eragon, of course. Able to do magic, extremely strong and fast.

Yeah, then that makes sense. *grin*
Oh, and no offense meant to those that want to be the other elves that dance in the woods.

I can't imagine myself dancing in the woods.

I am a woodland elf, like Legolas in Tolkein's Lord of the Rings!
Mom swears I was switched shortly after birth where the elves took her baby and put me in its place. LOL!
Wonder if that means I will live for hundreds of years? That would be cool!
oh, and I would say that when you shape shift you keep your human mind intact, but you still would feel the instincts of the creature you shift into.

What if the creature you changed into is really a human that had been changed into a creature because of someone who changed into a wizard and cursed him/her? Then would your thoughts be the creature's or the human's it once was?
lol. :-)

You're confusing...

Srry, but I don't know how to make it less-confusing. Any ideas anyone?

Yes, a bit confusing, but I think you would still have the human's thoughts in that case.
Oh, and Tandar STILL hasn't said what he would shape-change into...
(since he won't answer, I think I shall speculate that he would pick a wolf)

Why a wolf? I thinking more of a bagder - old and cranky.
