If you could shape shift at will between a human and one other creature (actual animal, insect, bird, reptile, mythilogical, etc.) what would that creature be?
Mine would be a Unicorn, white with black stockings, main and tail and blue eyes and a golden horn that I could play music on like Neysa in the Split Infinity books by Piers Anthony. Of course, as a Unicorn I would have the ability to heal others, purify water and teleport once per day.

Being a dragon would be nice. One like Smaug, only without the weakness.

I'd be an osprey, squirrel, fox, or cat. You know what? I'd probably be a Griffin.

The only problem with being a werewolf is the fact that you can't change shape at will, and you cannot control it.

Unless you're a werewolf of lore who were able to change themselves whenever they wanted simply by putting on a pelt made from wolf skin that they got from the Devil when they opted to give him their soul. Ha Tandar, beat that. lol.

Yeah, and Tandar, you never said what you would shape shift into.
Besides, in the first post I did say "if you could shape shift at will" So actually all you werewolves wouldn't really be werewolves, you would just be people that could shift into wolves. The question then becomes if you are turning into regular looking wolves or into the hollywood vision of werewolves in various movies (like in Harry Potter when Lupin turns wolfy). Actually, what I am describing is more like an animagus if you want to use the Harry Potter reference. Like Sirius Black when he changes into a black dog.

Question.
If you decide to morph into another creature, do you get to keep your human mind or do you have to change it so it fits with the function of the chosen creature's body?
If so, I'm changing mine into a more intelligent creature...Eh, actually, having no thoughts (or just the basic ones) might be kind of fun, so I may just keep it as such. But then, how would I turn back?
