I thought about your question in the Personalites thread Ali and I thought I might be able to figure out how exactly how I'm doing it. So I figured the best way was to test you and then decide if that makes any sense. So, the first few questions.
1) In what position are you when you're going to sleep?
[ex: hands curled into fists tucked toward your body, your body itself is slightly curled into itself; you sleep on your side, ect. ect.]
2) How do you eat?
[ex: fast, slow, medium, leisurally, what you like first, then what you hate, mouth open, more with your hands than the silverware, ect. ect.]
3) In what position do you usually sit?
[ex: legs apart, leaning foward, elbows on knees, curled up, ankles crossed, ect. ect.]
4) In what position do you usually stand?
[ex: legs apart, weight on one leg, arms at your side, cupping one elbow, on the balls of your feet, shoulders hunched together, ect. ect.]
You give me an example and I'll see if I can't do more and from there I'll see if I can't figure out a way to figure out what the heck I'm doing. *grin*

1) I generally sleep chest down, facing towards the right with my right hand up alongside my pillow and my left hand alongside my body.
2) I tend to eat very fast, eating a piece of meat to savour it's flavour and then use the meat to mask the flavour of foods that I don't like (Zucchini, pumpkin, turnip, cabbage). I generally finish up with veggies that I don't mind (peas, carrot, corn, potato) or any of the meat that's left over. Unlike a lot of people I know, I tend to use my knife as much as my fork, as opposed to using my fork almost exclusively.
3) I sit with my back straight, hands clasped in my lap and ankles crossed (right over left).
4) Mostly I stand with my legs just under a shoulder width apart and with my hands in my pockets. If I'm standing for any length of time, I will transfer my weight to one leg, wait for a few minutes and then change the other other, occasionally bending both knees slightly.
Hope that helped.

1) I sleep with on my side, curled up. When I wake up, I will be in somewhere totally random. Once I was sleeping with my mum and when I woke up she was sleeping with my sisters. I think I kicked her off the bed 'cos I was taking up the whole bed. [King sized.]
2)I eat quickly, or at least quicker than my family. However, I stay at the table and chat with my parents. [Family rule: Do not leave the table unless everyone is finished.] I eat the things I like, [Which is quite a lot of stuff, excluding veggies.] and I eat a lot of them. I do not eat what I do not like unless forced to do so. I hate tofu and veggies.
3) How I sit usually depends. Most of the time, I sit crossed-legged. Or with one leg up and I sit on that leg while I shake the other leg. Depends on the chair.[With armrest, one leg up. Without armrest, cross-legged.]
4) How I stand? Hands in pocket when someone is in the room. If there's a table I put my palms on it. I don't usually stand when I'm alone but if I do it'll be... well, read Dougal's.

Eh, it'd be a whole lot easier in person since when you read people you kind of neeed ALL the details, so these guesses might not be accurate.
Dougal: The thrill of combat situations draw you and you tend to daydream about it from time to time. You've worked it into your way of life. You're closed a majority of the time, though that range varies throughout life, but always partially there. You're never really open at any given time, though there are some times where it's close. You're right-handed. You're more accepting than Cutebabys. Eh...accepting might not be the best word, but I can't think of another right now...
Cutebabys: Though you may seem closed from time to time, you're really quite open about yourself. You're more of an either-or type of person; sided. You're usually not the neutral party which means you know what you want. And those few times where you're not really sure, you figure it out well enough. You make your opinions known in either your words or your gestures. You're also a dependant type person, would like to share your troubles, but I'm not sure if you actually have. You're not much of one to settle down. You need to move. That may change later in life, but not now.
Eh, like I said, might be wrong. Need more details...

1) Where's your pillow. Is it parallel or perpendicular to your body? Do you hug it to you or just lay across it? Does it rest only beneath your head or fall down to mid-back/wherever? Where are the covers? Above your head, bunched down at your feet? Are they soft? Rough? Ect? Where are the place of your hands [Cutebabys]? Curled up can mean a lot of different things. Are your knees touching your chest? Or slanted at a 45 degree angle from your body? Every single thing you can think of.
2) Do you chew with your mouth open? Closed? Talk while you eat? Talk when you're eating? [last two are different - first is if you talk at all during the meal; second when you're chewing]. Do you drink anything? After every few bites or after the whole meal? Do you cut your food into bite-sized pieces? Or leave them whole? Do you bite a piece off or cut it off if the overall size is too big? Ect. Ect.
3) Where are your hands? [cutebabys] Do you sit stiffly? Or are your shoulders relaxed? Do you lean back or lean foward? is your head facing directly foward or turned a little to the side? Or slanted at an angle?
4) Are both hands in your pockets? How so? Just the fingers with the thumb intruding? Both hands completely enveloped? Only your thumps?
Oh that kind of actually helped...some..
Dougal: You pay closer attention to detail than Cutebabys.
Cutebabys: You're easily distracted and can probably ramble on for hours if allowed. *grin*

1) Pillow? I use two. *grins* One's parallel, on my back, one's below my head, perpendicular. My knees are slanted at a 45 degree angle from your body. Hands are hugging bolster. Covers are soft, up to my neck. My room's like... freezing cold.
2)Chew with my mouth open unless my parents are around. Talk when I'm eating. Talk while I eat. I drink after every few bites. It just pull the piece into pieces.[Which my mom thinks is unladylike behavior.]
3)Depends. If I'm merely waiting for somebody[something I cannot do for more than 5 minutes], I'll be leaning back. If I'm using the com, I'll be leaning forward with my shoulders hunched up.
4)My thumbs will be inside my pocket, my fingers drumming a tune going on in my head.

Ooh. Thnx for the information on your room temperature. That really helps. See, without it, those are more defensive postures and that kind of conflicted with the rest. But with the information on the room temperature, it makes more sense. You're merely doing that to keep in heat. *grin*
Cutebabys: It's not that you're overly impatient, you're just full of lots of energy. You have your own personality and act upon it, though you do like to lean on those around you. You like the pleasures offered in life, like being comfortable [who doesn't? *grin*], and usually get them. You're easily distracted, but when something grabs your attention, it's usually a tight hold. You obey the rules unless you don't really see the point in them in which case you strike out more than stay quiet. You have the 'soul' of a preteen for the most part. Little rebellious but still mostly dependant on the family - especially the parents.

Cutebabys: Though you may seem closed from time to time, you're really quite open about yourself. [Dunno.]You're more of an either-or type of person; sided. [Yep. Usually the dark side.]You're usually not the neutral party which means you know what you want. [Yep.]And those few times where you're not really sure, you figure it out well enough.[Yep.] You make your opinions known in either your words or your gestures.[Yep.] You're also a dependant type person, would like to share your troubles,[Partially.] but I'm not sure if you actually have.[Yep.] You're not much of one to settle down.[Huh? What d'you mean?] You need to move. That may change later in life, but not now.

"You're not much on to settle down" - as in, you like to move from one place to another, or rather from one topic to another. Okay, now I just got to wait for Dougal and see if what I think I see was actually what I thought I saw...

Oh right. Then its true.Especially when I'm quiet. Which isn't often. I'll start thinking, then I ask the question. Then I continue thinking and ask another totally random question.

1) My pillow is right at the top of my bed, sometimes even a little bit beyond the edge and is perpendicular to my body. It never moves throughout the night unless I'm having some really trouble getting past the stage where you're only half asleep. The covers are usually just touching my neck and are kinda rough (I find it harder to sleep with really soft sheets for some reason). My knees are flat against the bed and my legs then to be close together as opposed to far apart. Like Cutebabys I do have a cold room in winter and a stinking hot one in summer, but I can sleep better when the room is extremely hot as opposed to cold.
2) I chew with my mouth closed (most of the time), talk while I eat and drink a lot of water. I might have a glass of water with each course (one for the main meal and then one for deserts, not that we have deserts much any more), and then I have another couple of glasses depending on how much water is left in the container. Mostly I drink when I'm finished, but if something tastes foul or sticks on the way down because I haven't chewed it properly, I'll take a swig. As for how big my pieces are, they tend to be just large enough to eat and I'll eat them whole if they're only just over being bite sized. However I will bite or cut a bit off a piece depending on what kind of food it is and when it was that I realised how large it was.
3) I sit stiffly and tend to lean forwards a little, even when I'm trying to be relaxed. I'm not sure if my head is point directly or if it is on a slant, but would say that it would be pointed directly if you were right in front of me and on a slant if you were off to the side.
4) Both hands are in my pockets, depending on whether or not I have to use one hand or not and go all the way in (although my left had doesn't go as far in because of my watch).

Dougal: You keep to yourself for the most part, preferring to watch rather than jump into the activity. Though when you do, you have the tendency to complete one task before moving on to the next. You're very focused when you want to be and I doubt little can pull you away once you've made up your mind. You probably would be okay living with little comforts, not really minding if you weren't wearing name-brands. You are accepting of many things and may be fascinated with history, especially the wars [more-than-halfway guess on that one]. You might be a tad bit paranoid, probably more inwardly than outwardly though both are there; just one more so than the other. You like meat and take good care of your body for the majority of it.
[and did you see the other one?]

I'd have to say that both your posts were pretty much spot on, especially about the brand-name stuff. I loath it.

Yay! ^-^ Okay, research finished enough to say [when is it ever finished? *grin*], I'll take a shot in figuring out what the heck I was seeing. *grin* ~ * ~ [glow=red,2,300]Dougal[/glow]The thrill of combat situations draw you and you tend to daydream about it from time to time. You've worked it into your way of life. [sitting straight; fast eating; usual standing stance - feet a little more than shoulderwidth apart; use of the knife while eating more than the fork: these are all partial types of military formation] You're closed a majority of the time, though that range varies throughout life, but always partially there. You're never really open at any given time, though there are some times where it's close. [you sleep on your stomach, following the natural instinct to protect the most vulnerable part of the body; hands completely in your pockets - you close yourself off from the world, keeping more to yourself; ankles crossed - defensive posture. Crossed limbs usually equal 'stay away from me', but they can mean different things if the situation's different; in this case I don't believe that was so] You're right-handed. [you cross your right foot over your left - your right side's dominant] You're more accepting than Cutebabys. Eh...accepting might not be the best word, but I can't think of another right now... [you eat the food you don't even like; she doesn't]You keep to yourself for the most part, preferring to watch rather than jump into the activity [Hands completely in pockets]. Though when you do, you have the tendency to complete one task before moving on to the next. You're very focused when you want to be and I doubt little can pull you away once you've made up your mind. [the way you eat. You go from what you like, to what you don't, to what you kind of like. You don't jump around.] You probably would be okay living with little comforts, not really minding if you weren't wearing name-brands. [you're like with the slightly scratchy blanket]You are accepting of many things [once again with how you eat oversized pieces - if it's not too big you'll eat it like usual, if it isn't, you won't] and may be fascinated with history, especially the wars [more-than-halfway guess on that one]. [Again, with the scratchy blanket - have no idea why, it was just a feeling] You might be a tad bit paranoid, probably more inwardly than outwardly though both are there; just one more so than the other. [sitting stiffly - you're not comfortable even when you're trying to relax = paranoai] You like meat[eating meat first, going back for seconds of it] and take good care of your body for the majority of it. [drinking of lots of water and eating your veggies]. You pay closer attention to detail. [adding more details to your answers]
