"Oh, okay then." Adrian found he really was happy he was stuck here with Ali. He seemed like he knew what he was doing and frankly, Adrian was too tired to think straight. All he wanted to do was sleep and eat. A lot.
He decided to follow Ali and stood, waiting to watch what Ali would do before following.

Adrian followed Ali through the woods, unware of how much sound he was making. He wasn't used to clomping around the forest, let alone in silence. He was all for the ring, well, maybe not depending on who his opponent was, but any other time, he was all for it. He wondered where they were going for to him it looked as if they were simply heading in circles. That tree looked just like that one they'd past...and just like that one right in front of him....Yup, lots and lots of circling...Hey, there was that tree again, and again, and again. Oh wow, they all looked the same now that he thought about it...
So entrapped within the thinking logic of his own mind - if indeed, it could be classified as logic - he didn't notice the deer Ali had. He just kept on walking and it was only when the animal lifted his head and took off, did he actually notice.
"Hey!" he screamed in excitement at Ali. "A buck!"

Ali being the quick minded ranger he is instantly shoots the buck hitting it in the vital organs. then in 1 smooth motion he turns around and slams Adrian in the face. "comeon lets take this meat back to the camp." Ali says as if nothing happened.

Adrian gave a sheepish look of silent forgiveness at having startled the deer, but Ali was quick enough to shoot it before it got away. He couldn't help a small smile from trickling onto his lips, but it immediately dissolved as Ali turned to face him, swinging for his face. From years of working in the ring, repeatedly getting pummeled by Sir Henry Lionheart of Caraway, he moved to avoid the attack on instinct. And had everything been ship-shape with his planning, he would've easily avoided the encouter, but alas, yesterday's rain had yet to get the notice to hurry up and dry, thus the leaves on the ground were still slippery from yesterday's storm. Safe to say, he slipped as soon as he landed after his small jump backwards, his foot shooting out from underneath him as his arms flailed to keep his balance. Unfortunately, he'd had the 'luck' to place his other foot behind him, which in turn shot out before him, spelling disaster with a capital D.
Adrian went down hard flat on his back, but not before his feet collided hard into Ali's legs, most likely sending him sprawling down after him. The wind left his lungs on impact and his head slammed into a rock, dizzying his vision.

when Adrian hit him in the leg Ali had the luck to place his other foot against a log so he didn't fall. he was extremly angry that Adrian had kicked him but kept his temper as he walked to the deer and started cutting off meat chunks not even relising what had happened to Adrian.

Adrian gave a slight shake of his head to clear his vision before staggering to his feet. He made his way slowly to Ali and the deer, not wanting to rush himself and fall. He figured it'd take him just a few more seconds before he got used to the pain. Heavens know he was used to it enough to know.
"So how we going to cook it?" he asked, not thinking clearly enough yet to think of making a fire.

Oh, right. That makes sense.
Adrian gave a sheepish laugh even as he gave a nod of his head and helped Ali do just that. "But should we take it back to the campsite or cook it here?" he asked, seriously wondering over the answer. If they cooked it here, faster eating, but they might catch the woods on fire...though he was extremely hungry...

Adrian grinned widely at Ali's words, his previous worry about the woods catching on fire completely forgotten. After all, he did have training in survivial, if you could count getting lost with Mischief for four days (and afterwords, he found out that Sir Henry Lionheart of Faraway had been within close proximity the whole way, no doubt laughing at his feeble attempts to survive).
Adrian dug a well-sized hole, lined it with some rocks, and waited for Ali to gather some kindle and a way to light the stuff. He was way too tired to do more than half of what was needed.
